1st ER said they thought it was a muscle pull, I have had muscle pulls, this is no muscle pull.
2nd ER visit sent home with "Undiagnosed Chest Wall Pain." ER thought there was a blood clot.
3rd ER visit, Dr. said, might be a bone crack or nick caused when doing the liver biopsy. Also, started having chest pains while in ER and told that the EKG was fine. The Bone Scan showed nothing on the rib area. Sent home with Dr. saying to follow-up with Internist, Gastro & Hepatologist, and given heavy duty pain medication and anti-nausea medication. Don't want to be sedated, want to get to the source of the pain.
I have obtained all of the reports, there is a few things things that I am noticing.
(1) I have a 7mm granuloma, calcified on the right lung apex, this has grown from 5mm 2 yrs. ago. And, a 3mm calcified granuloma. Should I be concerned? No one has even mentioned this during the diagnosis. The notes also say, also state the there is "calcified right hilar lymph noted suggests remote granulomatous disease. Minimal symmetric gynecomastia."
(2) I have Free Fluid in the pelvis. Should I be concerned?
(3) A stable enchondroma seen in the right femur. Concern?
(4) From 2007, the echo of the heart showed a slight leak on the left ventricle. Should I be concerned?
LEFT VENTRICLE - EF = 60 +/- 5%. The left ventricle appears normal in
size. There is mild left ventricular hypertrophy. Left ventricular
systolic function is normal. Baseline left ventricular diastolic function
is consistent with abnormal relaxation(stage 1).
CONCLUSIONS
1. Nomal LV size with mild LVH and normal systolic function. LVEF~60%. Stage
1 diastolic dysfunction.
2. Normal RV size and systolic function.
3. 1+ MR and TR. RVSP~26mmHg.
The only thing that the Dr. seemed concerned about is the femur. But, this has been seen for the past several years.
I am getting tired of Dr.'s telling me there is nothing wrong. I am a personal trainer who is lacking energy & am tired from seeing Dr.'s in the past few weeks.
I went to a Pain Mgmt. Dr. on Mon. & it helped for a few hrs. I saw a Rheumatologist yesterday & told that I just need to follow the regimen that was started 4 yrs. ago for the Behcet's.
I have a high pain tolerance and this is making me miserable and have no answers being given. I am used to living with pain, but this is making me have shortness of breath and feels like my chest is constricted. Not to mention, now I am getting headaches. And, developing insomnia, cause the pain is so bad. Plus this cough, is making the chest hurt more.
I would seek yet another cardiologist, these symptoms, especially the chest wall pain are NOT normal. You need one that will listen and do more tests to rule out everything. You have a lot of issues and I know you must be tired of all the pain and the doctors telling you it is nothing. I know you have seen all kinds of doctors, but there must be one out there who will listen and really dig to get to the root of the problem. I would say try a chiropractor for the muscle and joint pain, he might help, mine sure does, but, that is all I can offer. Keep trying, you WILL find one. Please keep me posted on your progress.
