Seasonal problems with Paxil

by Mikko22, Jun 14, 2008 07:08PM
I am a 48 year old male who has been taking Paxil (now the generic equivalent) for about 7 years now. It has worked well for the most part, but it seems every late spring/early summer, I have a 'dip' in its effectiveness. This year (right now) the dip has been worse than in years past. My feelings of anxiety, fatigue, fuzzyness, and hot flashes are very similar to when I started using the drug. In years past, I have snapped out of it. At one point, I was increased from 20 Mg to 30 Mg. This was several years ago. The hot weather seems to compound the symptoms, and all I want to do is sleep the day away. Is there something to do in this type of case? Thanks so much for your input!
