Sensitive Skin Lice Treatments?

by BaldBernie, Jan 09, 2009 10:38AM
Our school nurse has sworn by Licenex for several years. It isn't a name-brand chemical-laden shampoo, but it works great for sensitive skin. She says she's noticed that more and more children have sensitive skin and are developing rashes when using Rid or Denorex. Tea tree oil works well, but she says peppermint oil is better (due to the scent and that it dries quicker). Also, Licenex has enzymes that dissolve nits.

Has anyone else tried alternate medicines for lice, especially when dealing with sensitive skin?
