Skin abscess
Spinal cord abscess, muscle inflammation or enlargement of the lymph

Swollen glands
Swollen lymph nodes in the groin
Swollen lymph nodes under arm. All of these possibilities can certainly irritate nerves in the area, leading to arm pain.
Depending on where the pain is, you may want to consider treating any muscle inflammation
