Stepped on a Nail

by rod1029, Jun 23, 2009 05:50PM
I stepped on a nail 7 days ago, today, (day 7) I started having pain in my ankle of the same foot that I stepped on the nail with.  I have no pain or swelling or infection that is coming out of the puncture site, and my Tetanus shot is up to date.  I am wondering if there is a connection between the nail in foot and the pain in my ankle.  I do not remember twisting it or any such injury lately.
Thank you for your time and advice in this issue
