Okay, I posted on here a couple days ago about chest pains and heartburn, they got so bad I went to the EmergencyEmergency airway puncture Emergency contraception Room and I was diagnosed with GERD. Now I have found yet another something that bothers me.
I am celebate and have not been in contact with blood or drugs, etc. that I know of.... What could this be? Can you get HIV from touching doorknobs then using the bathroom?
No, you can NOT get HIV from touching doorknobs or from using the bathroom, so don't worry about that part.
If you have not had a blood transfusion, and are celebate, I would say the chance of having HIV is next to zero. You may, however, have what is called Candida, this is a yeast infection that has some of the symptoms you mentioned. Ask the doctor of a stool test to rule this out.
