Hi there
i am dyslexic, bear with my spelling.
this makes so much sense.
I had surgery last Monday , exactly one week ago.  After 8yrs of on off chronic sivere pain.

I had some endo symptoms from 17 .

All chronic pain started after a fall, holding my 1 1/2 yrl doughter, wearing socks i ran down stairs to open the door for a friend , sliped and whent banging down most of the step on my tail bone to protect my daughter.

I had a cleaning job at the time. i continued until i was unable, a few days, later to move.
Went to chiro, they said i had a broken tail bone.
after chiro i  felt great for 2 hrs then it was back to not so great.
saw phisio/acupuncurist he was great .
mostly no chronic tailbone pain, just somtimes, after seing him intensivly for 6 months.

No one ever mensioned other bit of spine the T11 is it, that could be broken .

Do you think thay would have foun it then if it was broken?
I had an x ray i think with the chiro.
Or is it moore subtle becouse it involves the nervs?

wont go in to symptoms thay are 6 pages long but right sided pain trigered by fisical stuf is in there. If i cleaned the ride ons at playcentre (doughters daycare parent co op one ) i would have a sore lower back that day , but the nexday wow the back was fine but abdomen was not!(throwing thoughsands dolars down my throat in natural suplement and seeing naturopaths homeopaths and acupuncturists did healp a lot, and leaft me abil to walk withought siver pain and in the end leaft only a couple of chroonic symptoms that i got some respite from after birth of secont doughter< but it started coming back this year yunges  .Endo usualy comes back within 5 yrs of childbirth.

All the exercise triggered stuff  very strongly after doing my playcentre duty, cleaning and lotsa bending i was in a lot of pain for the next at least few days , very hard to be on my feat to make diner ect , if siting actualy capable of showing my children how much i love them instead of being the horible snapy creature.

So  i want to  pour my money in to my children  and i am sick of this interfering with my life so I had a lap with a great gyne. she found moderate endo and interstitial cystitis. Great. she took out all the endo and i know she got everything ,she looks everywhere and is the sort it all out properly gyne, she is great, even cuddled me before surgery , what a darling. i recommend Hana fa Koya.
so other than an annoyed blander, and even that pain has now settled ,  i have my right sided pain! same as it ever was.
No other abdominal pain except some tenderness round the cuts and i also have a sore lower back, the nurse suggested that could have been exacerbated by the position jurying surgery .

I know that the stats show that back surgery  are not usually a miracle cure and one can often still have ongoing problems, i am wondering if that is the case with the surjery for this?
Are you feeling any better bkay?

I wonder if this the nerve can be released  or eased using ostiopathy or acupuncture ect, massage.
And if so is it a "cure"  or ongoing management ?
and then one is looking at how much money it is going to cost and how much pain you still live with is its now sorting the problem.

If one has the serjiry for the t11and pinched nerve, do you end up living with lower back pain?

I am going to go demand another referral from my gp for this, i cannot thank you enough for pointing me in what after 8 yrs of pain and asking buckets of doctors, is hopefully finally the right answer.
I am  done with pain getting in the way of me being a functional person . I wont it all sorted!

Wishing us all a pain free life.

my husband broke his tailbone when he was down hill skiing when he was in the 8th grade,(he had been graduated from high school for 19 years now) he still gets pain down in his lower back at some points. I guess it was pretty bad at first, like a year. broken bones can take a while to heal.

No need to apologize about your spelling you did fine

good luck
michelle.
