WHITE PATCH UNDER TONGUE

by GAYJO, Mar 08, 2008 11:29PM
Hi, recently I suffered an injury to the frenulum of my tongue.  It was bleeding a little and was sore.  Well, after a couple days I noticed I had a smooth white patch under my tongue where I was injured.  Like it was healing, but it formed a white patch.  It actually resembles a tooth but it's not. Meaning that's the shape of it. It's directly on the underside of my tongue at the base where the frenulum meets the floor of my mouth.  Is this because it's healing and how long will it take to go away.  Or WILL it go away?  Thanks in advance.
