Why do women bleed during intercourse with a low cervix

Hi Everyone, I have a really good friend who has a low cervix and everytime she has sex with her fiance she bleeds. Can you tell me why this is occuring?

More than likely her partner is too rough and not taking the time to "get her ready" She should discuss this with him.
