ankle swelling

by scooter555, Jun 04, 2009 08:58PM
experiencing pain in anterior area of right joint ankle was feeling a little stiff, no redness noted or swelling noted at that time but small bump noted, more painfull at night, next couple of days redness appeared and swelling occured, ankle became stiffer making it hard to point foot, pain felt on flexing as well but not a whole lot, tender to touch but bearable.  over time the redness became more and more and swelling spreading, applying ice but not taking the swelling away, swelling not gone by morning.  Do not recall doing any activity to strain ankle, no trauma. ankle remains swollen and redness still there.
