blood thinner

I recently fell. My knee almost instantly swelled up to three times the size of the other knee. My calf also swelled up quite a bit. I don't have insurance but was able to see a doctor for a fee of $100. He took some blood and sent it off to get tests and gave me some blood thinners because he said he was pretty sure I had a blood clot in my leg due to the fall. Now, I kind of forgot to mention to him that my foot had been kind of tingling a bit and feeling a little colder than the other one. Since the doctor's visit my foot has felt fine. That was Monday and this is Thursday. Today I woke up and my ankle is all kinds of green, blue, black, and purple and I have a yellow-greenish line running up to where my knee is swollen. I haven't heard from my doctor about the blood test results, so I was wondering if you could help me out with letting me know what you think is going on. Thank you so much. Please help!!!
