blood work levels

by Vicky8850, Oct 28, 2009 05:55PM
I am a 46 year old very active) female and my blood work came back stating my iron levels were elevated at 156 ug/dL and that my RDW was low at 11.4 %.  After researching, I found that high iron levels were 165-170.  Is this correct?  Three years ago my iron level was 146.  First, what does this mean and what could be the cause.  Could this be just l aging?
