burn on lip

I got a burn on my lip after taking a slice of pizza out the microwave and eating it while it was too hot. It hurt really bad but now I'm worried will the burn scar my lip?. It lots like a sore. the scab has been there for 4 days.

You could put this into the Doctors Forum, you may be lucky and not have a scar,it depends how deep the burn was,once the scab comes off you will be able to tell more or you may have to wait a while to see how it heals,dont pick the scab off its there till it is ready to come off.
