chest pain

by claire1963, Jun 11, 2009 02:54PM
hello- I have a question and you may not want to answer it since I haven't seen a doctor yet.  For a week now I have had a heavy dull pain in my chest that hurts worse when I swallow food.  I thought it was acid reflux at first but I have no burning or sour taste or anything like that.  Also I'm burping quite a bit.  I'm also coughing up clear phlem several times a day. I don't have a cought except when I cough up the plem.  No cold, draingage or anything like that.  I'm also hurting in the middle of my back.  I can only get comfortable sleeping on my back.  It hurts to sleep on my side especially the left side.  I am 45  years old in good health. Thanks for any advice you may give me.
