Typically, you would like the fasting glucose to be under 100. Prednisone can raise the sugar levels transiently.
I would consider repeating the tests in the few weeks. If the glucose level is between 100-126, impaired glucose tolerance (i.e pre-diabetes) can be suspected - especially if diabetes already runs in your family. Increasing exercise and weight loss will help with this.
