hot back feeling

by cathy501, Jul 01, 2008 09:25PM
i would like to consult about the hot/burning feeling my sister used to have in her entire back.  This is actually accompanied by a feeling of air on top of her head.  This has been going on for 2 weeks now and usually occur at 6 in the evening i think.  She thought at first that this is just an occurence of hot flash, but she is wondering why only her back and not her entire body.  We consulted quack doctors and they say that this is the result of exposing to water like taking a bath during menstruation period.  Please advise me on this matter.  thank you

You dont say how old she is,if she is of the sge to start or have menopause it does sound like a hot Flash and you can get it anywhere, get her a nice cool drink and a nice cool icy cloth, put on a movie and it will pass.

hi, thanks for your response. by the way me and my sister have been researching for the symptoms of hot flast, and the symptoms for it do not restrict the hot/burning feeling at the back of the body alone.  although she is already 42, hot flashes include sweating after feeling so hot all over the body which oftens times is followed by chilling.  We and our friends are wondering why it is concentrated only at her back and the feeling is like my sister is exposed to a burning fire.  and just like i said, it occurs everyday  for nearly three weeks now and usually happens early in the morning

my sister never feel any of the symptoms like chilling and sweating.  just what i've mentioned it is concentrated at the back alone, and when it occurs, it feels like the hot air wants to exit  in head.

Is is a bit early for menopause, she should have someone look at her back, could she be allergic to something, has she put on a new shirt or sweater, the material of which she could be allergic to, also has she eaten any new Food.Try to pin point anything new since this first ocurred,
