what causes cortisolCortisol level level to be low if the thyroid levels are normalNormal saline flush along with all other hormone levels?
what is used to treat low levels and what are the side effects of the medications?
What thyroid tests have you had lately? TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh, Free T3, Free T4T4 test, Thyroid antibodies? What were your results? Also, just because your numbers say you are in normal range, does not mean that you are. Everyone is different. For instance, I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism even though my TSH levels are at a 3.25 (anything below 5.0 is considered normal). I was fortunate enough to ask my doctor to run several Thyroid panels over the course of a year because I really felt like I was suffering from hypothyroidism. My TSH started off at 1.41. Six months later it was a 2.85. Six months after that, it came back at a 3.25. My cortisol levels are super low. I am currently not taking anything as all of my problems stem from mercury poisoning and a Candida infection. I am treating those two things and hopefully, everything else will go back to normal.
