muscle strain

by proudmom08, Oct 13, 2008 09:00PM
my son is 18 and weighs 130 pounds and in the marine corp. he has been in marine combat training for 3 weeks and called home yesterday and said he had pain in his chest, shoulder, back upper and lower. he is carrying a 100 pound pack and a rifle and the training is very demanding. he has 3 more days in mct training and i told him it sounded like a muscle strain. they also practice in martial arts and hand to hand combat. he said he would tough if out, because he doesnt want to be sent home. just wondering if that is a possible diagnosis of strained muscles?
