pain after nurse hit nerve

by colapops, Jan 12, 2009 03:42PM
Last tuesday i went for a blood test, she took it from the inside of my arm, and hit the nerve, which she said she would do. it was so painful and the pain shot down my arm into my hand and was like a burning sensation.it also carried on while she took the blood and was worse when she took needle out. she said the pain would go after couple of hours. it has got worse, i went to the hospital on friday night as my hand had closed up, they gave me advice to take painkillers and to go to my doctors on monday. i have been back and he has given me more painkillers and told me if it gets worse to go to the hospital, how worse does it have to get, every time i move it i have the same pain and it makes me feel really sick. i need to know what has happened and why wont any one help me to sort it out. i cannot stretch my arm out or grasp things properly as this causes really  bad pain. please help me to decide what the next step is, as i cannot carry on with pain like this,
