Without seeing the lesion, it would be difficult to say what it is. I suggest seeing a physician for the proper treatment.
If it is folliculitis, the treatment would be topical therapies such as warm
salineSaline laxative
Transvaginal ultrasound compresses and topical antibacterial or antifungal agents.
If it is acne, the oral antibiotics may help. Examples include
erythromycinErythromycin
Erythromycin base
Erythromycin ethylsuccinate
Erythromycin ophthalmic
Erythromycin pads, 2%
Erythromycin stearate
Erythromycin topical
Erythromycin, ophthalmic
Erythromycin, topical
Erythromycin-benzoyl peroxide topical
Erythromycin-sulfisoxazole,
bactrimBactrim
Bactrim ds
Bactrim pediatric or doxycycline. They are usually prescribed for 4-6 months.
Another consideration would be molluscum contagiosum which is a form of virus. They typically resolve on their own. Curettage, cryotherapy, or laser therapies are modalities that may be used to remove individual lesions.
Again, having a dermatologic evaluation would be helpful in determining the proper treatment.
Followup with your personal physician is essential.
