premarin vaginal cream

I have a question concerning the cream I was given to put on my sons penis. He is 2 years old and was told by my Dr. that this would be o.k. the pharmacist however said that maybe I should'nt because it is my sons future. I asked what he meant he said I should speak with Dr. Do you have any info on this.
