scar tissue from burn 41 years old

i got burned on a 22cup coffee pot when i was8 years old on the top of my left foot, im now 49 i just started having swelling in both feet in the last couple of months.my feet are no longer swelled but im having alot of pain in my old burn scar ,,and was wondering if possible that it is scar tissue or any answer could help...
