staph infection

by teena42, Aug 14, 2008 05:23AM
my two year old grandson went to the doctor yesterday they told my daughter that he had a staph infection on his head ,he has had sores on the back of his head for a couple of weeks but has had no symptoms of fever or is not itcy,my concern is they also made a commet that it might be MRSA,but i thought there should have been a test or something done to see if this is correct because of so many people dying from this. they prescibed  antibotics for him but aren't you suppose to disinfect your entire household for this please help on what to do????????????????

Yes...Throw away tooh brushes and clean all towels and bed sheets.....
I had MRSA and gave it to my wife real fast....I kept going to doctor and they kept giving me pennacilin type anti biotics.....I had to finally ask them to do a culture and a couple days later the doctor called and was sorry for not listening to me...

I am so scared of MRSA....I have seen what it does...
