Thank you for visiting the Family Practice forum.
You are on medications which may be contributing to the symptoms you are experiencing (i.e. side effects of the medications).
Atenolol, for example, does indeed cause fatiuge in many patients. Also, Amitryptyline is quite commonly associated with fatigue. You need to speak with your doctor about possible alternative medications to take for atenolol (which is typically used to treat hypertension or heart disease) and amitryptaline (which is used for insomnia and depression amongst other uses). Perhaps you can speak to your doctor about alternatives for the treatment of depression such as Prozac, Paxil or Zoloft. These are newer anti-depressants with far fewer side effects. Also, a blood test to check for diabetes and/or hypothyroidism may be in order.

Finally found a drug that has nearly totally relieved my hip joint pain (osteo-arthritis).   It's Arthrotec75.  EXCEPT,it is bothering my stomach just like Celebrex did.  I wonder what I could do to counteract this.  Just can't do without that pain relief.  Nothing else has worked.
