vaginal itch

I am 45 years old. I have had vaginal itch since I had staff infection at the hospital after I had my third son. Is it possible? That the vaginal itch is due to having the infection. The doctor states that I have to live with this problem. I am uncomfortable during and after sex and I wish to get some answers. I was given anti-depressants and anti-hesimine and said try sitz baths and prescribed creams. Now it is at a acute stage. I could not walk or ride my bike anymore. i went to the walk in clinic and they gave me more cream and anti botic pills. Then, I found my anus was covered with infection. I am having high fevers. What can you do for me?
