vaginal smell

by horsecamperdancer, Aug 25, 2008 03:01PM
My ex husband used to complain about my vagina smellling when we had sex in the morning. I went to my OBGYN, who told me his semen from the night before (I didn't ****** after sex the night before) would actually change the PH of my vagina, causing an odor. Basically, he was smelling his own semen after a night in my vagina. I tested negative for any STD's. Previously I did have a seriously fishy odor from a boyfriend who cheated on me and gave me an STD, but the smell was really bad and old fishlike.
But my new boyfriend gave me Chlamydia, which cleared up easily. But I did notice his semen was especially great tasting. Could this be from the bacteria, white blood cells, some psysiological affect of the Chlamydia?

This discussion is related to BV and the taste of semen.
