white bumps on tongue

by doodlesgahma, Aug 25, 2008 04:12AM
Two nights ago at bedtime my 2 yr old grandbaby had a 102 temp followed by a 103 temp the next morning. I also noticed that he had 4 white bumps ,one being red around the white bump, on his tongue in front close to the tip. I took him to the dr and she said sometimes the virus settles in their mouths. He's never had that on his tongue before. I would like a more in depth opinion please. Thanks

took him back to the dr again tonight. she said it will take 7-10 days for virus to run it's course and that the bumps should be gone by then.
