wow kinda scared

hi for about 7 months now i have had a hard swollen lymph node right under the area where my earlobe located. For a while i wasn't to worried because a family friend in the medical field told me that they were common and i shouldn't worry and thats exactly what i did.That is until this weekend when my sister who is a nurse practitioner found two nodules on my thyroid.She gave me great reasonworry a sufficient amount when she linked my swollen lymph node to the nodules and the word CANCER came out. i would really like to know how likely it would be for me to have some form of thyroid cancer at the age of 23. thank you
