Baby's eye colour

Has anyone's bub's eye colour changed from blue to something else yet?

I was hoping that Lucy would have brown or green eyes, and while I know that all babies are born with blue, I don't know when the change usually happens..

I have blue eyes, my mum has brown and dad has hazel.

DH has green, his mum has green and his dad has brown.

What do you think her chances are?

I think it happens by 3 months of age..but Im not really sure.

Sarah was born with blue obv. and we are hoping they stay that way because both DH and I have blue eyes. We will see. Only time will tell!

All my kids were born with blue eyes, except this last one. Zechariah was born with very dark eyes as his dad is spanish. His eyes will definately be brown. As for my other kids, after about a year o so with blue eyes, they all slowly changed to a greenish, hazel color. Everyone is different but my kids took a little while to change...

Caidens not even 2 weeks old and his eye color is already starting to change. Their starting to turn Hazel. I have brown eyes, my husband has hazel. So, looks like he is taking daddys eye color! I was surprised how fast they started to turn!

Wow, I can't believe that I might have to wait a full year to see if they change!

I thought that towards the end of the first year only minor adjustments would be made..

I guess I'll just have to be patient.  :)

lillys eyes looked black now there turning green but still dark

my lil one has  really  dark eyes  and they  look like they are going to greenish  now but daddy and me  both have  hazel eyes  so we are thinkin that  the will be most likely  green  hazel or brown. Now my daughter had the  normal blue eyes at birth like all and now her eyes are  grey  color  andmy son never lost his blues or blonde hair for that matter

Claire's eyes are the dark blue (that all babies have) but the area around the pupil is beginning to turn to a light grayish blue color. Does that mean they'll probably be blue? My son has brownish/hazel eyes (my hubby has hazel eyes). My eyes are a gray/blue shade. We're hoping her eyes will be some shade of blue.
I also heard that it can take up to a year or more for a child's eyes to change completely.
