I have read somewhere that your levels really need to be over 2000 to see anything on an ultrasound. I wish I could remember the site. If you are thinking your are 3-4 weeks it may very well be too early to see anything. At 4w3d all we saw were gestational sacs and yolk sacs (two dark circles with what looked like cheerios inside them at times) however at that point I am thinking my numbers were around 16,000 aas they were at 8,395 at 4w1d. Hang in there, and ask for another ultrasound in a week or two if they don't offer. As long as your numbers are going up you have every reason to be hopeful!

My levels were at 8227 at 5.5 weeks.  Are you having twins?

I wouldn't worry either! I also read the same thing...that your HCG has to be over 2 or 3,000 to see a baby on an U/S. My HCG was 6,000 when I was 5 weeks. So your number sounds perfect for 4 weeks Pregnant and if thats the case, thats WAY too early to see anything! I had a scan at 5W1D and all we saw was a gestational sac and yolk sac. Went back at 6 weeks and saw the heart beat! So everyday counts and 4 weeks is definitely too early. As long as your HCH is rising, you should be okay! They'll prolly give you another U/S in two weeks or so. Congrats & Good Luck!
