There are some sleeping medications that are 'safe' to take, but I would check with your doctor to see which he would prefer that you take.

However, sleeping medications are not a good idea. They are highly addictive. If you aren't sleeping well (aren't we all) then a 30min walk in the afternoon is a good way to improve the quality of your sleep. (also good for the baby)

Hi check with your doc.

I've been using benadryl (I also have allergies so this has double benefit), when I simply must sleep, after nights of not being able to sleep.  But am trying to use it infrequently.  Not more than once or twice a week.

I know that it is safe to take Tylenol and Sudafed medications...Tylenol PM and Sudafed nighttime relief both knock me out!!

Almost there!!

benadryl is pregnancy safe.  you can take tylenol PM but if you are not having pains too, then i would not take the extra pain part because the sleep ingrident in it is benadryl.

i would not take anything but try to make yourself more comfortable and drink a calming non caffeine tea or take a 15 minute bath before bed. i cant sleep thru the night either which is sooo hard b/c i am tired during the day.. it makes me think to quit working but then if i have a non tired day i dont want to be bored.. im just trying to deal with it.
