hcg levals

iv had 4 hcg test im 7 weeks preggers, my 1st one was 59 in 48hrs went to 192 then my next one was 11,000 then my last one on friday was 41,000 the last ones where a week apart, the dr said all was ok, but i thort they where ment to doubble in 48hrs and my last one dont look high enough to me, i worked out it should be higher. what do u think? im a bit woried coz i have had 3 m/c just this want things to be ok. do your homones slow down a bit when they get to a certan point?

your levels should double between 48-72 hours.  also from what i have read, as long as they jump at least 80% of doubling in that time frame, the doctor doesnot worry cause some women's never completely double each 48-72 hours but have perfectly healthy babies.

i have had 2 MC's myself so i know how worried you are but we need to try not to stress cause it is the worst thing we can do.  relax, your levels seem fine and the doctor is not worried.

That is normal as your pregnancy progresses the doubling time takes longer.

Beta hCG levels should double approximately every 2 days for the first four weeks of pregnancy [2]. As pregnancy progresses the doubling time increases. By 6 to 7 weeks gestation beta hCG levels may take as long as 3 1/2 days to double [3,4].
