middle name suggestions

I am bored and in need of help with some middle name suggestions for the hubby. The only ones I have been able to come up with are
Alexander Cole or  Alexander Paul
Ethan Thomas

my last name starts with a D and is two syllables, any other suggestions would be appreciated. I loved the name Cole at the beginning but couldn't get used to the idea of it as a first name and Thomas is after my uncle Tom who passed away very young. I like the idea of middle names after significant males in our familes and that has been the trend to this point, my stepson and husband share the same middle name and it is my husbands grandfathers name, our son's middle name is after my father, brother and godfather. The only thing is there are no Cole's in our family...
We have recently re-connected with my husbands father (Paul) but he wants to see where the relationship goes before going that route. Not a fan of Ethan Paul so that's why I didn't write it up there.

I love Ethan Thomas and Alexander Cole. They are strong names for your two little men.
Sorry can't think of anything better just now - though my brain is jet lagged. Am in Australia now (arrived yesterday morning from Manila) visiting family for a flying 6-day trip.
