mother in law!

well my mother in law has never liked me, iv always been extreamly polite to her and never gave her a reason to dislike me evern after the 1st 2 years of mine and my partners relationship she did everything in her power to brake us up!
Shes a doula there for thorough out my pregnancy nothing i do is good enough for her as she thinks she nos best but she realy dose not!
As im being induced for my own safety and that of my unborn child, she dose not like this as she feel i should do things naturaly, i realy feel this is not an option for me as i have spoken to the drs and feel there is a good reason for them to induce me and i feel safe and happy with there advice!
this has caused manny arguments as she is trying to convince me not to have it done, shes making me and my partner argue as she is feeding him **** and now he thinks that im not doing the best for our baby, I HAVE SPOKEN TO THE DR'S IN AN IDEAL WORLD I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A NATURAL BIRTH BUT ITS NOT SAFE! its makeing me so upset!
Anyway i have a dr's oppointment on thursday and she has decided to come and try to tell my dr how to do his job!
Not evern my own mother tells me what to do, i realy dont want her there! but she asked olli (my partner) not me and he told her yes she could come, hes not evern gonna be there as he is at work, now it will make me look like a B**** if i tell her she cant come and that will cause loads more arguments! its stressing me out!
Now im scared that she will turn up at the birth and as i dont want her there and will not let her be there this will cause more arguments between me and my partner and no1 wants that on the day of there childs birth!

Im at a loss of what to do! I dont want her there on thusday! i dont want her there at the Birth! i dont want her in my life fullstop iv had enough and i cant cope with the putdowns and she is trying to make me feel like im being a bad mother and my babys not evern born yet, think what it will be like when she is born!

HELP WHAT SHALL I DO? i dont need this stress! i need to think about me and my baby!

Can you try rescheduling? If they can squeeze you in a bit earlier you can say it 'slipped your mind' that she was coming.. (pregnancy brain and all)

As for not having her at the birth, all you have to do is inform your doctors and midwives and then it is their responsibility to keep her out.

i no thats what my mum said but then i dont want to end up arguing with my partner on the day that our baby is brought into the world!

its driving me mad, it just getting me down all the time! she always has something bad to say about me.
rescheduling sounds like a good idea though!

I think that you need to sit your partner down for a serious talk about what you want for the day of the birth. It is your day, and unless you sort it out before the day- you will be stressed and unhappy at the birth. Either the MIL will be there, or your husband will be upset with you.

The way I see it, that is a lose-lose situation. There is nothing left to lose by bringing it up before hand, except that maybe you might manage to get the argument out of the way before the baby comes and have a stress-free birth.

Your MIL got to have her own babies. This is your turn. Try asking your husband how comfortable he would be- if your mother was in the room watching while his private parts were all on display and he did a poo... You shouldn't have to share your body or experience with anyone that you are not comfortable with!
