+ FRER HPT

its light, but definately there..  darker than it was last month and that ended in mc.  so afraid this one will to.  tempted to call dr and see if I can be seen today. but I am on cd26, Af due on sunday.  afraid to get my hopes up.

didn't even temp or anything this month.  was supposed to be taking the month off because of my throid levels.  which luckily were normal at blood test last week.  but we said to heck with it and didn't use and protection.  heck, we only had sex 2 times this month!!!!  guess one of the times was enough!!   LOL

just worried because I am leaving next thursday to go visit my brother in Alabama. Knowing my luck something will go wrong and I'll end up in some strange hospital or dr's office!!!  so maybe I will call my dr today just to get the blood work going and see how things are going.  of course he'll want me to come in for a urine test first before he orders blood work.  hope their tests are as sensitive as the FRER!!!

Have they ever done a cd21 of 7dpo progesterone test on you?  If not, I'd try that this cycle to make sure your not getting pregnant but having early chemical pregnancy.  That's what these sound like.  I've had two as well.  The Dr. put me on progesterone right away this time and I am 6 wks today.  Good luck.

well, I finally got the results of my blood tests today.  Almost a week later!!! I hate Dr's office's, seems they always take soo long to give test results.

anyways, 3/20 test HCG level was 23, 3/22 test HCG level was 20.  so, they say it's just left over from miscarriage last month.  which confuses me. how could my levels still be high enough to get a + hpt when the in office urine test they gave me on 2/26 was negative??  they didn't do any blood tests last month because the in office test was negative.

At this rate how long is it going to take for my HCG level to get down to zero??

I am a little confused!!

I stopped bleeding yesterday evening. had a little spotting this morning .

oh well, leave tomorrow for my vacation.   going to relax and forget about ttc for a while.

thanks for all the support.  it is so nice to have a place to talk about all this and have everyone understand how I feel and what I am going through!!!

Well, I don't really need the results of the blood test anymore.  I started cramping and bleeding yesterday.  so either I got a false + hpt or it's another early miscarrriage.  either way I am not pregnant.

which is probalby for the best this anyways with my trip to Alabama/Florida. going to go on vacation and try to forget about ttc for 2 wks.

DH is eager to start trying again in May.  I think he knows I am  losing hope and ready to give up.

Oh well... I hope everyone else is doing better and had a great Easter holiday.

well, it only took the nurse at my OBGYN.'s office 3 hrs to call me back!! when I explained the situation to her she asked me why I tested?? duhh, because I am ttc and my period is due in 2 days and I am impatient!!!  she seems to think that I still have hcg in my system from last month!!  which I find a little hard to believe I had a very early miscarriage, 5wks.  I took 3 tests at home,2 on 2/21 and 1 on 2/23 all positive, then started bleeding on 2/24.   took another hpt on 2/24, negative.  my dr's appt was on 2/26. the in office urine test on that day was negative also.  so my levels must have been really low at that point.  so, I don't see how I could still have any  leftover in my system a month later!!!

anyways, I got her to give me an RX for bloodwork.  she had the other Dr. in the office prescribe it.  just got home from the hospital.   go again on saturday for follow up test.

so now I just have to wait!!!! and try not to worry.  fun, fun, fun

I don't subscribe to the "a line is a line theory" as I have had false pos on a few brands. BUT, with FRER, a line really is a line :)  I have only got bfps from them when they were real and Lord knows I should own the company for how many I have done, lol. CONGRATS!!

Definitely make an appt for asap. Your dr should want to see you quickly in case progesterone supplements are needed.

Congrats again!

A line is a line!
But since you mc last month I would call your Dr immediately.
Good luck and keep us posted!

The Drs test should be that sensitive...usually the 10-15 miu kind.  FRER can usually detect as low as 6.3, but u've had some time since that test.  I would definitely go see the doctor and ask for a blood test or do that tomorrow.

I would think you are preg with a line.  Try to be positive.  Mine was very very light and we're moving right along just fine.

SSBD and good luck.
