Is it possible to conceive the month of having a hysterosalpingogram?

Oh yes!  I did and she is now 2 years old.

Yes, my RE said (before she saw I had a unrepairable blockage) that many people get preg. right after. The reason being that there may be some 'junk' that is semi blocking the tubes and when they do the HSG they use force to push the dye and often pushes the 'junk' out and cleans you out.

i had an hsg done on 4/22/08, I O middle of may and by june i got a positive pregnancy test so it is very possible.  I was pregnant right after my hsg and i just gave birth to my lil guy 6 weeks ago.

Yes, when I had my hsg done they told me your chances are higher since hsg procedure cleans your tubes.

I am praying that I get a BFP soon.  The HSG was Tuesday and I am on CD12......my clearblue easy fertility monitor is reading high.....hopefully I will ovulate in a cople of days and I will post by BFP soo. Thanks for your responses, they are greatly appreciated.

I was told to  finish my antibiotic first and then  BD thats why they do it before your ovulation to flush out the lines. They told me the dye doesn't stay in your system at all it drains out on a pad after the procedure (tmi). So if your not sore to have at it. I BD the next day. But I got pregnant 8weeks later after that.

I was told to take my antibiotics for the next five days but that DH and I could BD as soon as I felt comfortable. We did two days later :) If not this month, I pray that we get our BFP soon. Thanks for all of the responses.
