10 day luteal phase bad or good ?? Please help x

Hello ladies,

I've been charting my temps and have noticed I have only a 10 day luteal phase... My last 2 charts (I've only done 2 charts) have ended on 11dpo which makes me have a 10 day LP... I'd post pics but I'm on my phone but fertility friend has said in my data records that my LP is 10 days so I don't kno if its long enough to achieve pregnancy... I've googled it and ladies have said its bad and some have said its okay.... I'm currently taking fertilaid which has vitamin b6 in it and vitex... But hasn't helped with my LP I ovulated on cd18 and got my period 11 days later... So I dunno.... Can anyone help me ?? I feel this is the reason why I haven't concieved... Thank you :) x

Hey thank you heaps for replying ! And me and DF have been trying for 9 months I just started charting 2 months ago... I use OPK's,bbt, cervix checking, cm checking etc to kno when I'm ovulating.... Fertilaid gave me my first 28day cycle this month in a loooong time... Haha so I kno it's doing good but I ovulated on cd18... That's late for a 28 right ??

I would talk with your doctor, as there may be something they can do help. I know that when I was having a similar issue, irregular LP, that the doctor I was seeing thought I might be having a poor ovulation rather than a strong one. The suggestion was  clomid, but I never went down the path, because of male factor infertility issues.

I would suggest seeing someone who knows or deals with infertility.

Keep charting in the mean time, because you could find that it does change or improve.

How long have you been trying to conceive for? If you have only been trying for the last two months, please know that it does take some couples longer than others, depending on age.
