11 day post transfer...can +HPT be accurate???

Help!!...well I am 46 and just went through an IVF on 16 of April after 2 day fertilization..2 embryos class A with 4 cells...my beta is scheduled for the 30...but as u all know during this 2ww I am going nuts!!!...so I decided to buy an HPT today and got a ++++++++++++++!!!!!!!!...can it be correct??...I am on Prometrium supp. and Progynova...last shot of Suprefact the 14...how accurate can it be???.....thank u sooo much for answering!!!

At 12 days after transfer, I would say it's definitely a reliable result! The only thing that can affect a pregnancy test is the HCG injection (trigger) they give you before retrieval, but that is usually out of your system within 10 days. And with a 2 day transfer, it's now 14 days ago since your retrieval and probably 15 days since your got your trigger, so you should be good for sure. Congratulations!

Hi I am on day 9 after transfer and am going insane with this wait!!!  If I am taking HCG injections (my last one tomorrow) will tomorrow be too early to do a preg test?

If you're taking HCG injection, you won't be able to do a home pregnancy test and get a reliable result until the HCG from the last shot is out of your system. The HCG in the shot is the same hormone your body produces during pregnancy, so the test would be positive whether you're pregnant or not at this point. When is your blood test?

I think archieandme meant PIO shots right?   Miscitalia, I read that when hcg levels get higher, they don't necessarily double every 48 hrs as is expected early on.  After my beta reached >780, the RE said no more betas and scheduled for the ultrasound.  As long as it is increasing, that's a good sign right?  Good luck!

                       1109...16 days PT...did not double!!
                       2995...18 days PT..WOW!!!!!!!!!!
WE ARE BACK IN THIS!!!!!!....no more BETA til Ultrasound!!!

hi....i am 29 had ma first ivf...now i am 5dpt with two grade A blastocysts.....i felt cramps ....backache.....nausea....ma blood test on 18th may....nervous and anxious.....i dont know wether ma symptoms are because of progestrone or it can b a positive????...i dont know how the time will pass...rubbab

When I was at 5pt had the same symptoms...it's probably the attachment phase!!...good luck!!
