14 follicles

Hi ladies
Had my first scan yesterday since upping my dose of FSH, they said I had 14 follicles is that good at this stage or should it be more? started FSH on friday so have had 6 shots so far?
Can anyone let me know if that is ok at the stage I am in?
Due to have egg collection on friday 25th

I don't know for sure because I've not had IVF, but my goodness 14 sounds spectacular!!

I thought I can have first IVF this month as same as your schedule, so we support each other, but mine will be in Feb.
14 follicles sounds pretty good to me.  I believe if you keep having shoots you may got some more.

i didnt have IVF..but..thats sounds very high...thats good... i got pregnant with injections and IUI...and i had only 1 follicle...yes just 1...so i assume your chances are very high...best of luck!!

Thats a shame but you wont be that far behind me as I have egg collection next friday so still have another week. My eggs are going back either monday 28th or wednsday 30th. have you started your drugs yet?

Because of hypersimulation on the 4thIUI, my RE don't know I change my plan which is to move to IVF.  I have no more patient.  My Re skip 1 month to prepare for IVF.
My next O day is around 1/28-1/30, I'll have lupron after that and repronex again.  This means collecting eggs should be around valentine.

To all:
I'm looking for some kind of avantage package, up to 6 IVF-3 fresh, 3FET or money back.  has anyone heard of this?

sorry, my mind goes away, keep think of your pg around valentine day.  I mean my egg collection should be around the end of Feb if every goes along well  I right behind you 1 month since we both have AF due on 1/11-1/13, right?

Just wanted to wish you good luck!  IVF is a very invasive and emtionally charging procedure.  I hope it works!

Yeah I have egg collection next friday, & they will be put back either the 28th Or 39th of jan, Then have to do hpt on monady the 11th it will be a nice valentines present if I get BFP!! please all keep fingers crossed for me x x

Just had another scan now have 25 FOLLICLES!! cant believe it just hoping I dont hyper stimulate!!
They are really pleased that I am responding well, hopefully I might be able to go in earlier..

Sorry dont have a clue when AF is due as I had a cyst so they kept me down regulated
(Injected burselin to stop all hormones) for nearly 3 weeks longer than should have, total 5 weeks, so I have missed a AF now. Actually your right just worked it out yeah would be due for AF on the 11th x So is that when you are starting your drugs? they started me on day 21, it is all so different for everyone x

Wow, 25 follicles, I bet you'll get BFP this time.  I ask my RE about hypersimulation on IVF.  Don't worry about it, even it happens RE can freeze them and put them back when the body is ready for.  He said somehow is better cause your body could get some rest after too much drugs and FET is worked well as fresh one.  We are in control anyway, that's the benifit of IVF.
