1st day of Estradiol

Hi Everyone,

I am on my first day of Estradiol (1mg). I took 5 days of Clomid before this and than I have to take 13 days of prometrium. Does anyone know what the Estradiol is for? Good luck to everyone!

hi,
I am using estradiol as well.. My RE told me that is to thicken uterus lining. After using clomid from day 3 to 7, ultrasound on day 9 showed uterus lining to be 5.6mm for me. So they ordered estradiol 2mg twice a day. I am on it. and also using prometrium from 3 days after the trigger shot. hoping that it helps.
