1st time on Clomid

Hello Everyone!

I am new to this.  Went to dr. yesterday and I will be starting Clomid 50 mg. on my next cycle (Cd 3-7)  Any suggestion on what time of day I should take it?  Does it matter if you take it at the same time everyday?  Are the symptoms worse when you take it in morning or night?  Thanks so much for any suggestions.  Getting very excited and hope this works.  We have been ttc for about 3 years.  My first child is 4 years old and I didn't have any problems with ttc with him.  So this is all new to me even though I have already been preg. once.

Hi,
I started clomid a few months ago. The nurse at my RE office told me to always take it at the same time each day, and not vary the time by more than an hour. Always took it right before bed bc had read that gives you the least side effects. I did not have any major side effects except moodiness. Good luck!

Hi! I know that you can take clomid whenever you want, but I was taking it at night in hopes of sleeping through the side effects. But I got SO hot that I would wake up so last cycle I took it in the am and did fine. I still had a few hot flashes but they were more manageable. Whatever you decide you should take them at the same time each day. Good Luck to you!

Thank you so much!  I think I will try them at night first then if that is to bad then I will switch the next month to am.  Good Luck to you guys also!
