As for me....Well....DH and I flew to San Antonio on 08-26-08 and met our little baby girl on the 27th!!!! We named her Anaiah Elise and are in the 6 month wait for finalization!!! She is so beautiful!!! And, yes, like Audrey said, once we had her in our arms all the IVF BS seemed to fade away. The way our adoption happened we knew she was meant for us!!!! She is just 3 weeks old, and we are back in GA
hi all - just got back from India and actually its been confirmed that medically I need surrogacy. The RE in India diagnosed me with Adenomyosis which is a thickening of the uterus and somehow this had damaged the back wall of the uterus which is where the embryo
normally implants. so the RE told me there is a reason why i wasnt getting any BFPs :(
anyway i am ok with this. I did want to go for surrogacy anyway. so now we're waiting for results from some tests and then we go for a surrogate cycle!
will read posts from everyone else now and catch up with the happenings in the last 2 weeks!
Deb,
So good to hear from you! Glad the leg is healing and even more glad that you are still considering surrogacy. How are the pups?
Nikki,
CONGRATULATIONS! OMG I have missed you! Please let me know every detail of your adoption. You have been blessed girl, sooo very happy for you and DH. Welcome Anaiah ( Is it a biblical name?!)
Sweedy,
Soo glad they have answers, and now you can move on. Do they already have a surrogate chosen for you? You will have that baby in your arms in no time!
Nicki,
You get to hear Mommy in stereo girl which is twice as nice! Lol. Have not heard from LJ either...miss her and pray she is well...
Bemy, Glenda, Hopeful,
Keep us posted with all the happenings!
. Awe I am just elated by your news and what a pretty name. Definitely keep in touch.
Sweedy- wow girl can't beleive it took this trip to India for some answers. Finally!! Not like it's great news but at least its something that brings you to a more certain plan. I hope the surrogacy goes by quickly and all the steps fall into place. You'll be blessed in no time I know it.
Hey Audrey bemy, glenda and hopeful. Hope you are all doing well
Hi everyone. Just wanted to post a qick update on me. The twins are doing great and I actually graduated from my Re's office today. I'm going back to my OBGYN on the 30th of september.
sweedy: I'm glad you were finally able to get some answers. That must be such a good feeling. I hope all form here on goes smoothly.
Hey, Ladies, I went to the OB yesterday and everything still looks good. I breathe a little easier with each appt. The baby measured exactly right (9w1d) and even wiggled a little for us. I go back again in another 2 weeks.
Nikki, thanks and congrats on getting your little girl. We are all finding solutions.
Sweedy, wishing you all the best with the surrogacy.
Nicki and Audrey, nothing new is happening at my end. I am looking forward to next week to see if things are still progressing. Still checking to see AF is coming everytime I feel something moving....
Hopeful and Glenda, I am happy to hear that things are going well and the little ones are growing. I hope that my little one is still growing and that I too will be able to breathe easier next week. The u/s is a tool to provide peace of mind, amongst other things.
nikki - its been AGES. And i am soo happy to hear abt your lil girl. it must be a great feeling. i have got all the papers for adoption set up for me too. one try with a surrogate and if it stil doesnt happen i'm going for adoption
bemy - am so excited for your u/s. do let us know how it goes. i am sure u'll see a strong lil HB
nicki & audrey - thanks for the encouraging words. I am now convinced that one way or another i am going to kick this thing. have a call with the clinic in india tomorrow and they will have next steps planned out for me. I expect to do the surrogate cycle in November!
hi to all the other gals - hopeful, deb,LJ (where are u??)
Audrey, Sweedy and others, thanks for your support. I went to the OB GYN today and I saw the baby and the heart beating. It is amazing but the embryo is in the shape of a baby already. The doctor asked me about doing some tests for down syndrome. While I would like to know in advance if the little one is fine, I find it difficult to take the amino... test which could result in a miscarriage. Has anybody taken or plan to take any down syndrome tests and if so, which one?
Sweedy, I don't think I have your email address. I am so excited for you. I'll be praying that surrogacy brings your dream to reality!!
We recently found out why our little Anaiah is so fussy. She has infantile GERD and a touch of colic (not too bad though). Anyway, they put her on some meds and we adjusted her feeding and raised her head a bit while sleeping. We'll see if that does the trick. She is 1 month old today. How time flies!!
Bemy, that is a hard decision. I'm not sure which way I'd go, especially since you've made it this far. Ask your doctor to lay out the pros and cons CLEARLY and then pray over your decision.
Glad to hear that things are going well Hopeful and Glenda.
Bemy--We have chosen NOT to do any of the invasive testing for Downs despite my age (40). We figure that we wouldn't DO anything about it anyway, so why take the risk. This will most likely be my last pg, so I want to enjoy it. Having some "bad" diagnosis hanging over me would just rob me of my joy. There will be time enough to deal with problems once the baby is born. The only genetic test we will have done is the AFP since spina bifida can sometimes be treated in utero or at least be prepared for in advance. I'm already about 90% certain that my baby will be born with ureteral reflux, since all 3 of our kids have had it. Weigh the options carefully before deciding.
Nikki,
Pics of Anaiah are gorgeous...looks just like you! What is GERD? Hope the the meds and sleeping position help your lil angel.
Sweedy,
Congrats Bemy! How exciting that you got to see your lil miracle. I would have to agree with Glenda as I feel the same way. It's a hard decision...how does DH feel about it?
Nicki, Glenda and Audrey, thanks for your comments. To answer Audrey's question, DH said no about invasive testing. I am also thinking the same. I would only let the OB GYN do the one where you measure the length of the back of the neck or something like that. It would be the screening rather than the invasive diagnostic test. The screening test is not perfect as there are false positive and false negatives. All I can do is pray and hope that after all of I have been through the little one would be fine.
I am looking forward to reaching week 12 when I can tell some of my friends who have been pg or are pg and be able to exchange experiences and information.
Ureteral reflux is where the urine backs up into the kidneys. It has varying degrees of severity from grade 1-5. My oldest DD was a grade 2-3 on one side and 1-2 on the other. They hoped she would outgrow it, but never did, so she had a corrective procedure when she was in Kindergarten or 1st grade (she's now in 4th). My DS was only grade 1 and has outgrown it (it's not as bad for boys anyway). Our 2nd DD had the worst case which was grade 4-5 on one side, grade 2-3? on the other, AND she has kink in the ureter outside the left kidney. She had a bad kidney infection last November and was in the hospital for 5 days, but a month later, God had worked a miracle and her reflux was downgraded to none on the right side and grade 1 on the left. Actually, we saw the reflux itself vanish completely during the x-ray, but the kink is still there. The story is much longer, but that's the short version.
The condition is hereditary and probably comes from my dad's side of the family (he and his dad both had lots of kidney trouble). I never had trouble until DS was 3 mos. old and I got my 1st kidney stone and infection.
Amazing I finally got to log in...fingers crossed this message posts.
So many amazing things have been happening lately. Congratulations Nikki! Can't wait to see photos.
This will be a quick post as the boys aren't sleeping yet and it's after 11pm, but I promise to sign back in asap when I have more time.
Matthew is doing great, 5 months old and already 16 lbs. He has already trippled his birth weight by 4 months and no longer on the preemie charts.
I am hanging in there, my numbers are back to what they were in May - 416 but still only 10% function. I have continued to avoid dialysis, but have been taking it easy and eating very healthly. Need a lap top so I can be on the computer for more than 10 minutes at a time.
I went to my OBGYN yesterday and everything is looking great. The twins are gorwing and moving a lot. I take my last progesterone shot tomorrow and I am soooooo excited!! I go back to see her in 3 weeks. Hope everyone else is well.
Nikki - so great to hear from you! Send pics to me too - dkruszew at ptd dot net. I am so happy for you. What is GERD?
Sweedy - well that is amazing that it took going to India to find that out. Can you update me with any surrogacy info you have please? Hope it goes smoothly for you finally!
LJ - OMG - thank goodness all is well. I guess not really well with your kidneys though. I can't believe Matthew is that old already. Glad you have avoided dialysis so far.
To all the PG mommies - sounds like things are going well for all of you and I am glad. Very exciting.
Nicki and Audrey - glad all is well - I think it is almost time for new pics again!!
All is well on my front - very busy at work - lots of upheavals - also worried about the economy but who isn't this week? Puppies are awesome - I love them to death. Take care everyone!
Hey Deb,
Thanks. I will send some pictures. GERD is gastroesophageal reflux disease. Apparently, it is common in babies these days. It makes them terribly uncomfortable after feeding. We as adults know what heartburn and reflux feels like so imagine a little baby trying to choke that acid back down. Thank God she is doing much better.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Audrey,
Sophia has grown so much. Seems like yesterday that she was just an tiny little angel.
Beautiful little pumpkin.
LJ- Thank god you surfaced! I was really worried about you girl. I'm sorry to hear about the kidneys still but seems like the healthy eating is really helping to prolong dialisys. YOu have to send some new pics of Matthew soon. They get so big so fast right?!? Huge hugs.... glad your back.
Deb- I've been terrible with the pics lately but promise to send some new ones soon. Oh and economy..... please what a joke. Bush and his morgage cuts and "privatization" for retirement turned out to be even more of a joke. Please... don't get me started. I hate Bush. Sorry if anyone out there likes him. Hope you all vote for McCain. There I said my peace. Glad the pups are doing well. Hugs.
Nikki- Chase had colic (which is basically the same ****). I switched him to Similac Alimentum and it helped alot. Really they just have to grow through it all ya know. Glad she's doing better.
Hopeful and Glenda- you'll be feeling so good once you are past the first trimester. Yeh for good ob appointments.
Hey, ladies, I forgot to update after my OB appt on Monday. Our little bean has really grown. Almost as soon as the dr mentioned being able to see the baby move, s/he got to movin' like crazy! The dr had a hard time getting a picture of the baby after that since s/he wouldn't be still. It went from full-on front view to a totally back view. This one is just as wiggly as my DS & DD#2. (I just THOUGHT my 1st was active, until I had the next 2!)
I'm done with my progesterone (thank goodness) and I go back again on 11/4. I think my "real" u/s is on 12/2 or close to it. In the meantime, I'm still queasy, but I THINK it's a tiny bit better. Maybe the progesterone was making it worse....
Hi everyone. Things are going great so far. I will be 14 weeks tomorrow and I am feeling wonderful. My next appointment is on Tuesday and on the 28th of October, pending twin cooperation, we will find out what we are having. We are so excited to know and pray that everything continues to go well.
Can't wait to hear what you're having! I've got to wait until early December even though I'm only a week behind you. We've never found out before, so this will be new to us.
my husband turned 35 ont he 11th and is now feeling old so he's askign about when we're goign to have #2.
Anyone know anything about frozen cycle and egg thawing? They say I have 4 8-cell and 2 6 cell all frozen in the same vial. How many do you think will survive the thaw? Also, has anyone had any success with a 6 cell??
The doctor's office said we'd have one shot at it. Which doesn't sound reassuring but it only took one time for us to get Sierra with the fresh cycle so hopefully we will be just as lucky. I am going to meet with the doc for our consultation next week. So hopefully I will know more then. I'm also wondering if it takes as many trips to the doctor before the transfer as a fresh cycle or if it's a lot less? Thanks for any help or advice you may have. I appreciate it. I feel nervous about getting into all of this again.
Happy B-day Sophia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of love on your big one year birthday and hugs from Brody and Chase.
Amy- FET's do have lower success rates but the 4 8 cells sound really good. The 6 cell can make it. You just don't know. I would research FET. As for the visits. It will be significantly less. You will most likely be on medications to control your cycle and the progesterone for the transfer. I haven't done an FET but that's what I remember from others I know that did. Good luck and I'm so happy to hear you might be ttc again!
Sweedy- where've ya been? hows evertyhing going for you?
Hi Deb and LJ. Hope all is well
Glenda and Hopefull - how are you guys feeling? Must be VERY real for you both right about now!!!
Physically I had a very good day yesterday, but I started developing a headache last night and it has really hit full force today (migraine, I guess). I suspect this morning's nausea was more headache-related that pg-related. I had such plans for today, but I've barely been able to take care of myself and my 4-year-old. Oh, well, tomorrow should be better.
Thanks for the pics LJ they were great - hope you are well.
Amy - I did donor eggs and did two FET's. Some of the embryos didn't thaw well so that is the only risk. All of them were day 5 and good quality but it depends on how they freeze and thaw. I would suspect you would do the same meds as I did and it was the estrogen and progesterone. I am kind of surprised you wouldn't have two tries left and you are young still!!!
Audrey - happy belated b-day to Sophia!! Do you have pics?
Nicki - where are your pics? I hate Bush too. I am still undecided but am leaning toward McCain even though I think he is too old and Obama is definitely more eloquent. Am really curious to see what happens next week.
Nikki - I never got pics. Hope your baby girl is doing better. That GERD or colic sounds terrible. But like Nicki said, they have to grow out of it.
Glenda and Hopeful - glad all is going well. You must be so excited!!
I was just thinking about Sweedy too. I hope you are well!
Thanks for the info ladies. I have my consultation appointment so we'll see. I thought I might have two tries with the frozen embies we had too but I learned they froze them all in the same vial...evidently each vial hold 6. So if they defrost a few, they defrost them all. Being back into all this science is strange.
Glenda and Hopeful,
So excited for the two of you...thanks for keeping us updated!
Amy,
I also did 1 FET cycle. My 6 cell grade A embies turned into 4 cell grade Bs and 2 did not survive the thaw. Meds were estrogen, progesterone and Heparin. It's great you have some 8 cell embies. When will you begin your cycle? My prayers are with you.
Nicki,
Are the boys dressing for Halloween? Sophia is a pumpkin fairy and I will be a scarecrow. We had a pumpkin patch Halloween party theme for her birthday party...so much fun!!
Deb,
Girl, it is always so good to hear from you! I will send you pics ASAP. Have you decided on your next step? I hate Bush too and am most probably voting for Obama!
Nikki, LJ, Sweedy,Bemy,
Hope you are well! Drop us a line when you can!
Just had a heartwrenching experience. Anaiah had her 2 month checkup, and we know what that means.....SHOTS! She cried like I've never seen nor heard. She had this expression like, "why are you letting them do this to me?" My heart bled for her. We got home and gave her some tylenol, and she is sleeping. I really believe she has milk protein allergies. We tried the Alimentum and Nutramigen. Alimentum made her eczema worse, and she broke out in rashes. The Nutramigen gives her loose stools/diarrhea. Go figure. We have a follow up appt with GI doctor in 2 wks.
Deb,
I emailed the pics on Wednesday-I think.
Audrey,
Sophia looked precious in her costume. Glad to hear she enjoyed her birthday. They grow up so fast!!
Glenda,
Sorry to hear about the migraine. DH gets those, and they are TERRIBLE!
Sweedy,
How are things with you? Write soon.
Nicki,
Glad to hear the boys are doing well. How old was Chase when he outgrew his colic?
Nikki, so sorry to hear about the shots and the allergies. My brother's oldest DD has TONS of allergies and is lactose intolerant. She is slowly adapting to eggs, but still drinks soy milk and she is almost 5. She can't eat corn (as in cornstarch and corn syrup which are in EVERYTHING), beef, peanuts, and a bunch more stuff. She started out with rashes and reflux when she was a baby, but now it's mostly diarrhea and rashes. Hope the GI dr is able to help her. She's probably a bit too young to see an allergist, but who knows.
You may be right. My neighbor has a little girl a few months younger than SIerra and she has had eczema, diarrhea and a couple really bad episodes of allergic reactions, like swellign and a rash on her whole body. She just had her first allergy test at 10 months and it turns out she is allergic to wheat, eggs, and nuts. Her mom thought it was the dairy but it turned out the dairy was ok. She goes for more tests soon. Not that they ahve isolated those three things out of her diet ( which is soooo hard) her exzema (eczema) has cleared up and her skin looks great!
as for my appt today. The doctor said I have 1 8 cell grade A, 3 8 cell grade Bs and A 6 cell grade B and a 6 cell grade C. Audrey, I hadn't thought about them going backwards, like a 6 cell changing to a 4 cell. I might start the process at the beginning of my next cycle..seems too soon. I don't know. I still have 10lbs to lose and I ahve been drinking caffeine. I want my body is great shape befoer I put it through all this.
The doc recommended a hysteroscopy, 900$ to make sure my uterus is a "happy place"...his words. I had one before the last time and it was fine. Now I know I did carry Sierra and everything since that exam, but should I do another one to make sure there is nothign in there? TMI sorry
Nikki- that stinks that you're still having digestion issues. It definately sounds like an allergy. Especially if the Alimentum didn't work. I've heard some good things about Good Start formula. But you are probably doing the right thing going to the gastro specialist. You should get some answers after that. Chase's colic lasted from 6 weeks to about 13 weeks. Doesn't seem like long but when you're living in the day to day... it's an eternity. So I have so much sympathy for you right now. Hang in there. It will get better. I know it's hard to see them so miserable right?!? I used to put a sound machine right by his head and put the waterfall sound on (sounds like a vacuum). That machine was my saving grace.
Amy- I don't know about doing that test again. That's the one where the put saline in the uterous?? I forget. But why mess with anything? You did carry Sierra alright so I don't know. Maybe it's better to be safe than sorry so I can only say my opinion if I were in your shoes.... and I'd probably say no. Good luck with the FET. Can you believe i'm missing my infants and thinking about # 3!!! Not seriously at all, just thinking : )
LJ, Audrey, Deb, Sweedy and everyone else, hope you are doing well. Can you believe Christmas is almost upon us already!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so not ready. I still have to get the boys first b-day out of the way which will be chaos in itself! Ugh.... I'm gonna need some good wine to get me through the next 2 months! Hugs all
I went ahead with the hysteroscopy yesterday and I am glad I did. They found some scar tissue and were able to remove it. Now we are set for December 19th transfer date for our frozen embryos. I am just hoping they thaw ok.
It's very strange to be doing this again, doctors appointments, calendars, my drugs get delivered tomorrow.
Hello All. Just dropping by with an update. I will be 19wks on Thursday and so far everything is still going really well. We found that we are having a boy and a girl! That's exactly what I wanted. DH is very happy too. We just ordered the cribs and other furniture for their room. Things are moving so quickly. I am amazed. I'm really popping out now and there is no hiding that I am pregnant.
I'm improving...slowly. I broke down and took a small dose of anti-nausea med this morning because I had to take DD2 to Mom's Day Out. If I'd had the time, I could have made it w/o it, but trying to rush around and get somewhere by 9:30 a.m. was just too much for me. We have our "big" u/s on 12/1 and I'm very excited. I'm just afraid that if it's another girl, DS will be VERY disappointed (he's a very sensitive boy, sometimes).
Are your babies really active? This one has busy days and quiet days so far, but it's still a little early (I'm 17w5d). Have you picked out names yet? We're still waiting to find out about the gender....
I had my big u/s yesterday and we're having a boy (yay!). Most everything looked good except for 2 things: the nuchal fold thickness and the umbilical cord. The nuchal fold was 6.1mm and the cutoff is 6.0, but since there didn't seem to be any other indicators of Down's, I think it's okay. As for the umbilical cord, I have Single Umbilical Artery (SUA) which means there are only 2 blood vessels instead of 3 there. I have an appt with the perinatologist on 12/9.
Well, our visit with the perinatologist was both bad and good. The specialist confirmed that we only have 2 blood vessels in the umbilical cord. He said the nuchal fold thickness looked normal to him; however, he said it was too close to the "useful" cutoff date to be accurate. He also discovered that the baby has 2 additional holes in his heart. Between my age and the heart defect, he seemed convinced the baby had Trisomy 13 or 18 which are both usually fatal. Given that info we consented to an amnio and discovered that our baby boy is chromosomally healthy (no Downs or anything). We'll probably have to see a pediatric cardiologist before the baby is born, but God may decide to heal the baby's heart in the meantime. Time will tell.
Sorry to hear about what ahs been going on with your pregnancy. I hope you little one will be ok. I'm glad the amnio showed that all is well. Please keep me posted.
I went to see my Peri today and he expressed slight concern about me having excessive amniotic fluid. He is concerned because it can cause preterm labor and is a sign of GD. I will be tested for it afer the holidays.
Glenda- so sorry to hear about what you and your little one are going through.
Hopeful- I hope your GD test goes well.
I just finished my two week wait after my FET and we got a positive test result (after I did a HPT and got a negative because I tested early---just couldn't wait) . We are very excited but worried because I know a lot can happen between now and 9 months from now. I am not supposed to be lifting more than 10 lbs. but finding it very difficult because my one year old has to be almost 30. I am just trying not to lift her from the floor but it is near impossible. We have our first ultrasound on the 19th..and hope all is growing the way it should.
Congrats! My 4yo still wants me to carry her occasionally and I just have to tell her that she's too heavy. Yours is just too young to understand that, I know. Best wishes.
Congrats!!! Try to be relaxed and try not to lift. I think that is very important. I pray that all goes well and you have a happy and healthy nine months. Stay positive!
It's a little late but happy new year to everyone! Amy congrats to you!! Glenda and Hopeful I hope all will be well with your little ones. Hope everyone else is doing well. Hard to believe it is 2009. Soon all the little ones will be big!! Time for new pics girls when you have a chance - we need to see the holiday ones. Take care everyone!
Hi Everyone. I'm just checking in. I'm 34 weeks along and the twins are doing great. I have 4 more weeks to go and hope to make it all the way! At the 32wk mark both twins weighed about 4lbs. I'll find out on Monday how much progress they have made.
You're doing great to make it to 34w with twins! I look forward to hearing about a big birthday in the coming weeks. I'm 33w and BabyB weighed 4lbs. 10oz. at the peri's office on Monday, so your twins aren't far behind--which is fantastic. Of course, I'm sure you're having a hard time getting around by now (I know I am!).
I'm doing all right except that DH & 2 of my kids have passed their cold on to me. With my SUA, I'm really afraid to take Sudafed for fear it might constrict the blood vessels in the umbilical cord and placenta. Thankfully, my nasal symptoms aren't too severe, but my throat sure hurts! Of all the weekends too--DH is taking us out of town for my birthday weekend, It's not fair to be sick on my birthday or on a trip!
Happy Birthday! I hope yiu enjoy yourself despite you sniffles.
I'm on bedrest so getting around isn't really an issue although every trip to the bathroom is a heavy one. Glad you are doing well. I go back to see my Peri on Monday. I hope my two have gained a good amount of weight.
Hi Everyone!!!! Just want to give you an update. Twins are doing great and I am scheduled for a c-section on March 31st. I'm very excited and nervous at the same time. Can't wait to meet them!
Yay!!!! I can't wait to see some pictures. I see my perinatologist on Monday and my OB on Tuesday for a biophysical profile. Technically I'm due a month from today, but I suspect Baby B will be born earlier (whether by his choice or the drs).
Hey, Ladies, I'm a little late posting this, but it's been crazy to say the least!
On Monday, 3/23, I went to see my peri. and my BP was up to 158/??, so he sent me to the hospital for 24 hours' observation and urine collection (to check for protein). Once I got hooked up to all the monitors, they discovered Ben's heart rate was over 200 which caused a lot of concern. Both my BP and Ben's heart rate settled down after an hour or so. My OB came in that evening, did my GBS test that had been scheduled for the next day, & checked my cervix (1cm, 25%, & -2 station). I ended up staying for 30 hours, but was finally dismissed to go home on partial bedrest. I also was told I'd have to see BOTH my OB & the peri. every week until I delivered. My BP was fine when I went back to the OB on Wed (3/25) & again on the following Tues. (3/31), but we went ahead & scheduled a tentative induction date of 4/17.
On Friday, 4/3 at 10am I went back to the peri. and my BP was higher than ever. He told me I was going to the hospital to have the baby right away. Well, DH & I were in separate cars & had to make "kid arrangements" for the other 3, so it was around 1pm before we made it to the birthing ctr (I was starving & refused to go w/o eating 1st as well). My OB came in & broke my water at 2:30 and apologized that he would not be able to stay for the delivery since he had family commitments. At 4pm they started the evil pitocin & the dr on call arrived (a wonderful lady). At 4:45 they increased the pitocin and I really started feeling the contractions at that point. At 6:30 I was 8cm & "stretchy" as the dr put it, so she let me start pushing. One push and I was at 9cm and at 6:45 Benjamin was born all in one push.
He was a tiny 6lbs 9oz. (my other kids were 7-15 up to 8-11) and 19.75" long. He came out crying, but has hardly cried since. He doesn't like his bath and sometimes objects to diaper changes, but other than that he's a very peaceful, happy baby. He's been a little jaundiced, but he seems to be improving.
We took him to the cardiologist today and he got a clean bill of health there. He had lost down to 6-1 at 3 days old, but has now gained up to 6-13.
Hope everyone is doing well. I haven't seen any updates from anyone in a while....
Thanks for posting your story. I'm glad all is going well for Benjamin. I had my two as planned on 3/31. Jordan came 1st and weighed 5lbs 3oz and 17 1/2 inches long. Jadon was 2nd weighing 6lbs 4oz and 19 inches long. So far they are doing wonderful and getting bigger everyday. I'm still recovering from my c-section and so far it's ok. My incision has reopened a bit and has been bleeding a bit all day. Other than that I feel wonderful and I am loving being a mommy. Pick are posted so check them out when you have a chance.
Congratulations to you both! I am glad you are all home safe and sound. We found out we're having another girl. Very excited for Sierra to have a sister. Now I am 5 1/2 months and waiting for September. I am not in any hurry to have two running around. So this little one can take her time. I have no idea how those of you with twins do it!
Hey! I don't know about everyone else, but we're doing great! Ben is 5m now and weighs just over 16lbs. He is such a little cutie and flirts with every woman he meets! I think he's teething, but no little white tooth buds yet. He's a very happy baby and we all just love him to death! DD2 just started kindergarten this year, so it's just the 2 of us at home now. Of course, I say "at home" but I am rarely home. Last week we had 6 appts between the kids and me. This week (a 4-day week too) we had 7 appts and that doesn't include church services and DS's track meet. I am SO WORN OUT! I hope I can stay home some next week.
Do you have pix of your boys on your profile? If so, I'll have to check them out. I'll bet they're just adorable. Are they sitting up now?
