at 6 weeks in October which led to a DNC and a referral to a fertility specialist. I have been seeing the specialist for 4 months. He has run all the tests on both my husband and I. Everything came back normal except my hystogram(?) showed some scar tissue blockage
, which I had surgically removed in December. My specialist said I should be ready for a normal pregnacy, he started me on clomid to help my cause and I ended up with a positive hpt last monday, followed by a bloodtest that confirmed I was indeed pregnant. I had follow up bloodwork yesterday and within a few hours of the blood being drawn I started cramping and bleeding. The office called me to tell me that my HCG levels had dropped from 28 to 5- another miscarriage
at 5 weeks. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter whom I became pregnant with within 3 months of ttc and had a completely normal pregnancy. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Does anyone have any explanation?
I'm so sorry to hear about your losses.. There is just nothing to prepare you to go through such a thing.. We are currently on our 5th pregnancy and PRAYING it is finally a sticky one..(it will hopefully be our first child) anyhow they did find that i had a clotting disorder
.. however, i have a friend that has had 3 or 4 losses trying to conceive her second child.. all of her and her husbands testing came back negative.. however the Dr is still going to put her on asprin and folic
acid, and even heparin when she becomes pregnant.. I would ask your dr about this.. studies are showing that even if you don't have a clotting disorder, but a history of miscarriages, that asprin won't hurt, and looks like it might even help to conceive and stay pregnant.. so i think its worth a try! The good news is that you can get pregnant, and so its possible! GOOD LUCK and keep us updated!
I wish you all the best with your pregnancy! I know the feeling of wanting it to be a "sticking one"! Thank you so much for this information on aspirin- I had not heard it could help with miscarriages and will definitely talk to my doctor about it my next consultation appointment. Although all of my tests to date have come back negative, the office did call me this week and said they were missing my tests for factor2 and hystocysteine- so I have to go back for more blood work. (not really sure how they were missed) . Keep me posted on yourself and your friend too!
