My aunt had c-section and she has 3 beautiful children.  C-section has nothing to do with being pregnant.  If you have problem with your uterus, then you have complicate pregnancy.

your other question, do you go to the doctor and have sonogram to see if you have any follicles?  because if you ovulated, you must have an eggs (follicle).

Hope this help.

Hey there!
I don't have an answer for the c-section one..but I don't think it makes a difference.

For the second question. I read somewhere that your body can gear up to ovulate but never does release an egg. That's why some women go for a progesterone check after they ''think'' they've ovulated. They can tell by progesterone as the number will be high if you did in fact ovulate.

Hope this helps. :)
