2 weeks post Clomid, having pain...Any suggestions?

I have had one child from the first round of Clomid about 4 years ago. I was diagnosed with PCOS 6 years ago.

I have just finished my last Clomid 100mg pill days 3-7 about two weeks ago. One week ago I felt cramping and pain going from one ovary to the other. I have had intercourse everyday since starting the pills. Right after experiencing the ovary pain I can now feel the pain right in the middle and it is very tender and uncomfotable when I have intercourse. I feel bloated and discomfort with sex and when pushing down to go the restroom. Is this normal? Could this be a sign of pregnancy? Could this be a sign of ectopic pregnancy? I tested for pregancy and it was negative, but I know it would be too early for a test to pick up. I am not under a Doctor's care and wasn't when I took Clomid before. I ordered the pills online and they are legit and from a Pharm. company. Please give me any advice or opinion on what this cramps and uncomfortable sex could mean. Thanks for reading.

I don't know what is going on - I still suggest that you call your doctor.  Good Luck.

I am not really sure what you may be experiencing but I do do cramp some with the clomid and I have had more this time around because I am also taking injectables, but I am under RE care. I will tell you though my RE and my GYN sad you should not have sex more than 2 days in a roll because they need time to build back up and this may be why you are dry because of so much activity. Hope that helped and best of luck.

I am still feeling the above symptoms in my last post and this constant dull pain. It is like pressure...Alomost like the feeling you get when you first start your period, but not quite. This has been ongoing for a week now...No bleeding at all. Menstration start date with medication to induce it was Feb. 24th and started the Clomid Feb. 26th 100 mg. Menstration cycle stopped Feb. 28th. What is going on? My husband even thinks it feels different inside like it is really dry the farther in.

I will definatlly keep your advice in mind...Thank you for the responses...During intercourse I was still feeling tender..My Husband says it feels different and it hurts the most when it is the deepest. Don't mean to be so graphic but what area would that be when it is the deepest?

If you ovulate you will have a period - if you aren't pregnant.

Cramping and ovarian pain is very common with Clomid, probably the most common side effect.  I would wait another few days and take another test.  If it is negative you should see your doctor.  I would suggest that you see your doctor every few cycles if not every cycle while you are on clomid.  It can sometimes cause ovarian cysts and if they were there before you started taking it, then it can make them bigger...and can cause pretty bad pain.

Hope this helps.

I do not remember the name of the website, but it was out of New Zealand I believe. It worked the first try with my first born. I hope it works this time. I used it about a year ago, but I didn't take it when I had a period so it didn't work.

I was also wondering if you do ovulate, but the egg isn't fertilized do you have a period? Because I never have periods unless I take medication.

I'm about in the same boat you are in. I've had 2 boys who are 5 and 6 pre-PCOS and now were trying for our third. I am about 2 weeks after my first round of CLomid and I am cramping and I had pain in my ovaries. I also had many symptoms of ovulation which I've been without for a long time. I don't think I'm in as much pain as you are but I am tender and we've been going everyday. It could be you're body is not used to the everyday activity. I think pain for a ectopic pregnancy is more to the side but everyone is different. It could also be a cyst on the ovary from a follicle not being released but again this usually hurts more toward the side. I hope it's good news. I would like to know where you are getting your prescription for future reference?
