Hi,This cycle I had taken letroz 5mg from D3-D7.On day 10, my follicle size was 17mm and on Day12 its size was 26mm.My doctor asked me to take HCG injection..But she told me that sometimes it would be a cyst...If it is cyst,it will not ovulate She ask me to come on day 14 for checking whether ovulation has done or not..Yesterday I had taken HCG injection.I'm waiting for the ovulation..if anyone knows 26mm follicle size is normal or not..Please answer this question..
I think 26mm is quiet a big size to take trigger shot. 17mm and above means mature follicle means u can ovulate next 24-36 hours or so. Go by ur RE advise but do BD from day 10 u know ? I feel we involve so much in tests and doc instructions and not doing what we have to do.
By blood test they will know whether u ovulated or not so don't worry either case they will know the fact. One more question ur doc is specialist or regular ob/gyn?
well i think its nice to have such a huge follicle and i dont think its a cyst. my last follicle size was 25mm, my RE told me the same thing....that this might be a cyst or a follicle, i know in my heart that it must be a follicle. keep up the hope.
