This is a continuation of our “2WW Buddies Will Get Lucky” thread series. In our last thread we had 2 BFPs and we hope for many more in this one. The posts on this thread series have been so very supportive and encouraging...and I would like to thank you all for it.

Dang af showed her ugly face today.. Im kinda bummed out but Im just glad af if here so i dont pull all my hair out :) The suspetion was killing me. I'm going to ask the dr. to do another dye test and another exploritory. Iv'e had them done before but something could have been overlooked, pluss this is a different dr. than the one who did the first one. Mabie he will find something the first dr. didn't.. Good luck to all who is still waiting.. Congratz to ALT76. I think im going to get really drunk next weekend, it's been along time coming..  Going to have a sister night out :) I will drink one for all of you.  CHEERS!!

SamLB- Thanks for praying for me, but my chances look grim. I had good amount of spotting today. so looks like AF will visit me tomorrow :( I dont know why this is happening when according to re, nurse, BBT each time it is a perfect cycle. I am already going into depression.

natasha - HCG at 4 is a good sign...test again in a couple of days...it is supposed to double. u might have had a late impantation that why hcg is low right now. but keep the hope up

Hi. Could you please change my info to 3DPO today (4/12),  I thought I had O'd on Wed, but fertilityfriend showed Tuesday.  Then, for some reason today, it changed my data to show I O'd on Wed :)

natashalo: That is weird. Technically a 4 is not considered pregnant, like you said, but that's very interesting that the urine test had a faint line :-) I hope it's a BFP!!! Are you testing again in a couple of days?

i did that regimen two cycles, got great follicles, 3 first month, 4 the next, but did not get pg.

everyone-- Thought i would drop in and see how everyone is doing. Ill be back in the TWW soon. prob in the next couple of days. The doc added injectables to my clomid (menopur) any know how well these two work together?

ok all you late nighters. i have some very interesting news and i'd like to get some feedback on it. as some of you know, i work midnights at a hospital. well the lab tech happens to be one of my good friends. i asked her to do a BETA for me and i got some puzzling results. I have an hcg level of 4. She also had me do a urine test and it came back with a faint + as well. The only thing is, the urine tests don't detect hcg levels less than 20. Also, you aren't considered pregnant unless you have an hcg level of 10 or higher on a BETA test. So the puzzling question is....am i pregnant or not?? this is killing me!!!!

YOU CAN ADD ME TO THE BFP'S!!!!!  Woohoo!  

It's only a 9.0, but I had my trigger just 12 hours hours before my IUI, and I'm only 13 dpiui, which means I'm only 11-12 dpo, and that number is just fine with me being that early!  Hell, I may have not have even implanted til yesterday!  

Anyway, I hope this gives some of you hope.  I was so sure this morning when my FRER was negative - I didn't even wanna call when they didn't call me.  I kept saying "well, that's less time crying".  

Also, this WAS my FIRST IUI!!!  So let that give some of you hope.  I did do 5 rounds of clomid, THEN had a lap and discovered I had endo as well as PCOS, so this is my first try since my surgery removing my endo.  I've certainly paid my dues, but those of you doing IUI's just know that it can work.

Let's hope those numbers keep on rising (but not so much that there's like 6 in there!)    I go back monday for follow-up HCG and progesterone levels!

tea_berries and G_S - thanks ladies, for your input and advice... I honestly don't know what my tolerance of pain is.. I mean, I think I have a pretty high pain tolerance, but I've never had anything serious happen to me before, so maybe the sedation will be alright... I'm not complaining anyway :) I'm trying not to worry about it too much - I know it will do a ton of good to get this done and so I'm actually looking fwd to it too.

G_S - crossing my fingers for you too! :) I think it's about time for some of us who have been on here forever to get that BFP - hope it's you! (and me next month of course! :)

jen023- I did not get sedated, even though i was asked to pop in a couple of ibrufen...which definitely help as it kinda numbs your belly temporariry...just like any other period pain med...it is not the most difficult procedure but not the easiest too...u will feel some discomfort in the form of cramping but try keeping you pelvic muscles relaxed. good luck and dont worry u'll be fine....when i had it i did not even know what it was supposed to be like...all i had read was a 1 page pamflet :)

as for me...i have a feeling i will get my af soon...my legs and back have started to ache and getting few cramps in belly but no spotting yet...fingers crossed.

I did it last september but did not get sedated.  They only asked me to take a couple of advils an hour before.  It was not an experience that I would like to happen again.. But some women do not feel a single pain during this procedure.  I know they only sedate  you when you have a low tolerance with pain.  I think that's what my friend did.  She got sedated because she asked for it and that she knows she can't handle even a little pain.

so i just got a call from my dr... they said to take anaprox before my HSG but then she also said not to eat or drink anything after midnight due to sedation... I didn't know they sedated you for this test - has anyone gone through this before? This is actually my first procedure ever to even be done in a hospital... never even had my tonsils out, so I don't know how this all works and am starting to get a little scared...
