Hi Sorry to hear about your job.  That really *****!  We lost 10% of our pay back in March and I did not complain one bit because 10% is better than 100%.  I changed and had my Beta this morning instead of tomorrow since I will be attending my  cousins funeral so now I am waiting for the Dr to call and let me know what's going on.  I was going to stay home but I decided to come to work to keep me busy.  I guess I will know before I get off this afternoon.   Wish me luck!

Can I join the train too? I have been lurking for a while, but never posted before. I am 9dpoiui and having a hard time with the waiting. My hubby and I have been trying for two years, but this is our first IUI. We started seeing the RE back in March. I have regular cycles, had normal bloodwork and a clear HSG. His tests have all come back great. So for now, they are just saying unexplained fertility, possibly due to my "advanced" age (34, almost 35). ;)

The waiting is so hard, but I am resisting the urge to test. :)

The RE said it much more politely, but that is really all they have to go on right now. I just laughed at him, since there is no way I think of myself as "advanced" in age. LOL.

Ok my Dr called and said my HCG is 13 and my Prog is 50.  Said that because I am a day early that I should not worry.  What is the usual HCG level, does anyone know?

Hi, I'm ready to join in this tww but I'm just not there yet...lol. I will be in about a week. My RE said all my blood work and hsg was normal and DH's s/a came back fine. So we'll see what she suggests next week when I see her. I'm sure she'll give me the bit about advanced age, I'm 38 too.

I hate being 13 dpo, I bought a box of tests for Friday and they are calling my name, lol. I may take the day off of the  forum tomorrow just to try to keep my mind off of testing prematurely. Of course I have had a monster headache the entrie day! I finally broke down and took some tylenol.

Anything over 5 is considered pregnant! How many dpo are you? Are you going to have another blood test soon??

I am scared it's to low but I heard the number doesn't matter as long as it doubles.  I wonder if a low number means the implantation was late.

Numbers don't matter...just that they double or close to double 48-72 hours!  My last pg I had a good number @16DPO it was 225...& I mc'd  ;(
Don't stress too much right now, I KNOW its hard not too!

Maxwell as long as your #'s double. When do you have your 2nd beta. It might be that your embryo implanted late.

I am not very familiar with the beta numbers. But I know what kind of an emotional rollercoaster can all these checking and waiting can be. yes I've heard that EFR can pick up a level of 6!  as a FAINT line I'm sure.  Plus, last week you probably still had HCG in you...right?????

Hi, I'm now 8dp5dt. Everything seems to be going well. Here in Ireland, my beta levels are not monitored. I have to test officially next Monday so I'm praying everyday that some of that sticky baby dust has found its way here!

Things look good so far tg becaue last time I did IVF, AF came during my second week and so far she has stayed away so I'm staying really positive.

This 2WW train has been a godsend. Reading everyone's experiences has helped alot.

Hope this train gives alot/all BFPs!! It's looking good so far!

Well, I lied.  I said I was going to wait to 14dpius to test again, but after the dream I had last night I couldn't wait.  Dreamt I tested and it was positive and I told my mom and brother (both passed away 2 years ago) I was pregnant and was telling them how I knew beforehand because of the blue veins on my chest.  Woke up thinking I had to be preg after that.  Well, another BFN.  That's messed up!  I'm 13 dpius now.  Am I the old fart of this thread? LOL  41 years young

Hi, what did your RE say about doing the IUI's back to back? I am thinking I will do that this round, but my RE says its more about timing, than a double dose. She says if i want to spend the money she'll do it, but feels its not worth it.

well i have had two dr give two different answers.  this was my second iui.  I was  told that the chance increase a little.  my wife and I are using donor sperm, it is about $500.00 a pop.  good luck to you

Thanks for the encouragement!  Feeling kind of negative right now.  I had back to back IUI's.  Don't know if it did me any good.  Gets spendy that way (my insurance doesn't pay for it).  If this doesn't work,  I think I'd rather go with one because most studies I've read on the net say it doesn't seem to increase the chances and that way I could afford to try again.  So do you think Halle did it naturally or had help?

Max - I'm sorry you are feeling apprehensive about your beta.  If you remember on the frist thread of this mine was a 10 and I ended up having the number go down the 2nd beta and it was hard.  BUT if you remember my post from last week I said a girl I worked with had her beta at a 7 on the first one and she went on to have a normal pregnancy.  Don't get discouraged!  It's all in a God's hands now and you have to stay as relaxed as possible.

AFM - I know I'm not in my 2ww anymore, but if you ladies don't mind I know we will be having our FET next week so I'm just going to stay settled in on the board.  We have our appt with the RE Saturday for the u/s and to determine the date of the FET next week.

well the story i read was her first was ivf, and this time around was iui. I understand about the bummin, i have been bummed all week that af was here, now she's leavin, and its time to put the bottle of wine away and buck up, and  be positive for the next round.
my insurance doesn't pay either which is why i am trying to decide 1 or 2. This will be our third iui and after 2 years, i want this one to stick! wish i had some of those Duggar genes, although 19 kids is a bit much for me.

I am 5 dpiui - I did ovidrel shot on Saturday 8/29 IUI on Sunday 8/30 started progesterone on Tuesday 9/1 and I go on Friday 9/11 for my blood work to see if I am pregnant

Since I'm still waiting (your name! lol) to see my new RE on 9/16, my OB faxed over an order to my lab yesterday so I can get a progesterone test.  Well I saw on the order he asked for an HCG b/w too. (darn it, it wasn't STAT!!!! Grrr) Not sure if they know I was only 7DPO or if they thought maybe I was 12DPO+

OKAY I THINK THAT I AM NOW REALLY 51/50.  I HAD BACK TO BACK IUI'S ON
08/26/09 AND 08/27/09.  HOW MANY DAYS POST IUI DOES THAT MAKE ME TODAY?  I THINK THAT I HAVE BEEN COUNTING SINCE MY TRIGGER WHICH WAS ON 08/25/09.  I TOOK A $1.00 HOT AND IT WAS NEGATIVE, SO DOES THAT MEAN THAT THE TRIGGER IS GONE?  HELP

Well I am out for this month.  My HCG dropped to 4.  I go back next Tuesday to see what the next step is.  Not sure how long I have to wait to have another transfer.  Good luck everyone and I will be back on ths journey soon.  Hopefully none of you will be on my next journey because this one will work for you :)   SSBD to all!!!!

I guess what hurts the most is not knowing why and what happened.  I definitely was pregnant but God only knows why it did not work out.  I will not give up and note to self, I will not HPT next time.  To me knowing it was positive and then to go to negative that just made it worse.

I took another HPT and confirmed my BFP! Thank you all so much for your support through this journey. I am getting off this train now and need a volunteer to take over, it really brought luck to me and I know it will to many others. I did this exact same thing when I got my BFP from my DS almost 2 years ago! I am not a superstitious person, but that is kind of crazy that I ran a 2WW train twice and got BFP's both times! I think it helps to give and receive support. Hope to see all of you in the pregnancy forums real soon :-)  Sending Baby Dust your way! Good luck!!!

Well, I'll be joining this train sooner than I thought. I did an opk today on cd14 and it came back +. Since my mc in Feb I have never gotten a + until day 16 or 17. Has anyone else ever experienced this b/4? I guess I will O a few days earlier which is great with me as I have had a 10 day luteal phase since the mc and I know that is a little short. I haven't been worried about it b/c my re wasn't. Anyway I guess I will o in 12-24 hours. I'm temping so I'll wait for the temp rise.

I hope everyone else enjoys their 3 day weekend!! Anyone have exciting plans?? As for me...I have to stay in bed all weekend!!! My RE dx me with OHSS the other day & it's no joke! OMG I am in so much pain..& nothing takes the pain away or makes it feel better (can't take any good meds).. I swear I look 6 months pregnant! I don't fit in any of my pants... I had to force myself to work today (i missed most of the week) & I work with DD adults and one of my clients  said "do you got a baby in there?" So I just replied no I'm just fat...& she says "yea you need to stop eating" LOL I just laughed, I couldn't even get  mad!

Good Morning!! Today is 10dpiui for me... Finally getting somewhere!! As for symptoms: I was having cramping here and there, kinda like AF cramps but then they disappear within minutes... then... it was like this small pinch pain on my left side, next to the belly button that was constant. If I bent down I could feel it even more. That went away. The cramps went away for a few days, and now I feel them more so at night. Maybe just one or two.... I get up to pee at least once in the middle of the night, and my bb's are sore, but that happens when AF is on her way as well. As for hormones: Estrogen is 179 (Im not sure how that plays a role in pregnancy?) and Progesterone is 23.71. Let me know if these numbers are good? I am on progesterone suppositories, but it was still 23 just 3 days after I started taking them! Whatcha think?

Question; When does your temp go back down to the 97*'s if you're not pg?  Is it literally when AF comes?  Or is it a day or so before she comes????  I am very curious??????  I've only tempted off n on for the past few months & I stopped when I gotten a negative, so I was wondering when do the temps actually go back down??????  Anyone know??????

Ita17, I will add you!! This train will bring you luck :). My temps usually drop or start to gradually decline a few days b/4 af. Last month though, my temps stayed up high and dropped the morning af arrived. It really fooled me.

Well, I'm out. AF showed up this morning right on time, darn her! We have been ttc for over 2 years, but this is was our first iui. I'm trying not to be too upset, but dep down it hurts. Good luck to the rest of you, and I'll be back in two weeks!

AFM: Im 8dpiui today and not too many symptoms to brag about... I still have horrible ovary pain, but that's due to OHSS and I have came down with a stupid cold, so I just feel like ****!! And my only "new" symptom this month is my face is breaking out... That doesn't usually happen! But I'm not holding my breath just yet...

How is everyone else feeling??

Well I don't want to get your hopes up girlie, BUT I have gotten a stupid cold w/ a few of my pg's BEFOR I knew I was pg!  Your bodies defense will go down in order to not let your body reject a growing bb.....SOOOOOOOOOO HOPEFULLY that is the case w/you ;)
I just took an HPT & I'm pretty sure today I'm 11DPO (maybe 10DPO) & it was a BFN..I KNOW it's still early, but I was HOPING for sweet dreams tonight!

Hmmmmmm, today is 11 DPO, & tonight I feel my lower abb achy, & a bit more where my lil right ovary is.  I don't expect AF for 6 more days!  WEIRD!  This has been a STRANGE cycle for me!  Ovulated on CD9, now 11DPO & achy????????? STRANGE I tell you ;)
Can't wait to see my temp in the am, maybe it will tell me if AF is coming early?!?!?!  STRANGEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I am now 11DPO trying for my first child, i got my fertility letter through yesterday got another blood test and urine sample to give today don't know why though will find out later.  I'm just praying for my BFP i don't want to try again in month 25 i'm getting really fed up now.  Best of luck to everyone ttc i've got at least 2 days to go before AF is due praying it won't show!!

Hey gals.... This morning I woke up around 4:00am with some serious cramping on my left side. (I had IUI done one 08.26.2009, started 100mg of endometrin on 08.29.2009 and started having cramping on 09.01.2009) The cramps come and go as they please.... just one here and there.... last night it was... BAM! One after the other for about 3 minutes. I ran to the bathroom to make sure I was not bleeding.... nothing. (sigh of relief) I had this happen about...a week ago as well? a week ago it lasted longer then 3 minutes... maybe about 5-8 minutes. Anyone else experiance this kind of pain? I also had what I hope to be implantation bleeding. Started 2 days ago, was pink at 1st, very minimal only when I wiped, and last night it was brown... Nothing this morning... I find out if I have BFP tomorrow. My RE's office opens at 8am... I will be there by 7:30am...lol. Any stories of the same thing would be very much appreciated. I do understand everyone's body is different.... I just need to hear something from someone because I have become very afraid.

Well, finally got the official test results that I have been waiting for since Fri.  I got AF on Sunday so I already knew what they would be; negative, just waiting for the confirmation.  Had a friend ask me, "You didn't honestly expect to get pregnant the first time, did you?"  Ah, yeah.  You expect/hope to get pregnant every time you try.  Kind of thought it was meant to be because the due date would have been my son's b-day.  Guess not.  Will probably be back on train in a couple weeks.  Thanks for all the support!  Sending bbd to the rest of you.

Hi Everyone!  Thanks Natalie for welcoming me to this community.  I became pregnant a year ago, seven years after having tubal ligation surgery done, but we lost our baby at around 10 weeks, possibly due to low progesterone.  God willing we will conceive again.  I would love it if you would add me to this good luck train.  From my irregular cycle, I believe I just ovulated on day 9 or 10 (Sept 5 or 6).  I don't use any special means to monitor my ovulation, other than how I'm feeling day to day.  I hope to have a BFP soon, GOD BLESS EVERYONE!

My progesterone level 6-7 days post ovulation came back @ 40.3!!!!  But for some reason my Dr (not an RE) also ordered a beta which came back @ a 2.  But I told the nurse I expected it to be @ a 0 cuz there was  no way I would have implanted yet, if I were pg.
I get my official beta on Thursday, I will be 14DPO, my LP is SOOOOOOO longs, usually between 16-18 LONG!!! Ughhhhhhhh

So my question is, do any of you ladies know if you can implant AFTER 14DPO???  Just curious cuz my LP is LONG!

I'm HOPING my achy/crampy belly was something good;)  I remember w/my son 11 years ago (they didn't make EARLY HPT's then;) I felt like AF was coming off n on for a couple days, then after her day came & went, so was that AF "feeling"
It also happened w/the one I mc'd in Feb.  I remember thinking FOR sure I was pg.  Then 4 days before like 10DPO I felt like AF was on her way, thats when I ordered fertility tea online......it was on a Saturday night! & I got my BFP w/FMU on 12DPO that time!

ita17, I think implantation can happen between 6-10dpo and a little earlier or a little later too. This may be the news you've been waiting for. Are you taking hcg triggers? I ask b/c why would your beta show anything but 0 if you weren't pg? I'm really hoping this is your month!!!

I'm 3dpo, I had an appt with my RE today. I had bw and an u/s. I o'ed early but I caught it. I tested with an opk on Friday and expected it to be negative but it was +. I have more bw on Monday and then meet with the RE on Wed to go over all the tests, u/s and bw. I'm so anxious to see what she says.

I'll be updating the list tomorrow so if anyone wants to join this good luck train, let me know. If I need to update anyone else, send me a note and I'll get you updated.

Ita...I think anything is possible! But that would make sense as to why some girls don't get a BFP until days AFTER af is due?!?! And yea how did you get a beta of 2?? You aren't on any meds this month....hmmmmm ;-)
And I sure hope this "cold" is pregnancy related!! I feel a little feverish today though..I just took my temp & it was 99.06 so I'm just hoping that's pregnancy related & not me being sick... My sore throat is gone, just stuffed up now!! My boobs started aching today (but that's not unusual) BUT(tmi) lastnight DH & I were BDing & when he kissed on them I noticed more of a sensation & a tad sensitive?? Ok one more gross thing.... These last 2 days I've had loose stools, not quite diarrhea, but almost! I looked it up of course & some woman say it's an early symptom..what do y'all think? Or could it for some reason just be part of this cold??

Just wanted to let you know those cramps are totally normal...with my DS I had them before my BFP and even after...they hurt so much I had made a few trips to the ER cause I just knew something bad was happening...but I was WRONG!! So I'm curious to see if you are preggers!! Sounds promising though.... I wish you the best of luck!!!!!!!!

Im defenately not testing early... I rather just wait it out and test 14-15dpiui.. That way I'm not bummed too long waiting for af!(happened wayyy too many times before) Especially cause this is my last month TTC....I'm almost scared to test!

40.3 IS GREAT! I remember last month we had our prog. test around the same time and we were both in the teens I think! Every month my beta's come back less than one when I'm about to get AF never 2! I hope these are great signs for you! Keep us posted. My boobs are becoming more sore (not uncommon) and feel a little crampy, but usually I'm very moody this week and irritable...so far that hasn't happened. Re not doing progesterone test this time so I have to wait it out...Today is D21 for me.

To all that have received BFP's ...Congratulations!!!! How exciting! I hope I'm there soon.

To all that just got AF...I'll be thinking of you..If you're like me...you're ready to get the next month started when you realize AF is for sure coming...you just want it over with so you can get started back!

Okay I know this is tmi also, but I have had loose stool for two days. My boobs feel exactly the same. No cold and haven't checked temps this time...Hopefully these are good signs! Also, I've been extremely cold today. I'm usually very hot..weird?

I honestly didnt think it worked because I messed up the trigger shot. But prayer must have been the answer. I didnt ovulate till the the day after as well, and only had one good follie... So keep your head up girls!! BFP's are ont their way.
