3rd Beta results

Ok ladies, some of you know last week with my second beta my numbers did not double. I went from 289 on Friday, to 532. I was pretty upset. Today I went in a 8 and they just called that my numbers went up to 1113. I need some advice please. Do these numbers look promsing. I am 5wks2days today. I go in for another level check on Monday. I am so excited but so nervous, I have seen others with levels in the high 1000's. Any true advice will help.

i think it's still looking good.  they aren't doubling but nearly doubling and it may still be fine.  you should be able to do an ultrasound next week and you'll know more then.  good luck, i think it's going to be good news!

Hey, looks good to me. What did your nurse say?
I had  my second beta yesterday and it was just under double too, but the nurse said everything looks great. My numbers were 332 up to 626 (in two days).
Maybe your body is just slightly different than others.

That is so exciting! Growing numbers are good!!

At my first IVF attempt, I didn't even get a Beta number. I test on Wednesday the 10th and I keep visualizing a call from the IVF nurse saying I have a Beta number. Right now, I feel like my AF is on the way. But, I read that those progesterone inserts can mimick period symptoms.

Hey, the way I see it is as long as the numbers are going up and close to doubling the baby is still there and progressing. And that's good!!!! So just focus on that and don't stress about the specifics.

actually the numbers did double 532 doubled would be 1064 ascotts numbers are 1113 they more then doubled I think your numbers look good, here is wishing u lots and lots of sticky baby dust

Everybody: Thanks so much. I have been in major depression. I have decided to take some leave from my job. My nurse wants me to rest as much as possible. My job is so stressful, sometimes I forget to take care of myself. I hope everything goes well.

I am so glad that you are getting the much needed rest you deserve and I know everything will go great.  You do need to take care of yourself so you can take care of the precious cargo you have on board.  Good things come to good people I truly believe that!

I will check my box, I am not sure how far along I am.  My nurse said that you go by transfer date and ad 2 weeks so if that is the case then I will be 6 weeks Wednesday.  Is that how they do it.  My U/S is scheduled for the 15th.  I hate waiting and am very impatient.  We want to know now.  

Again, I am so excited for you and I know everything will go well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont worry about the numbers as mine did the same I was way to early coming in so they had me panicking thinking I was going to Miscarry my excitement turned to fear. My numbers were going up just not doubling like "they" want, so i wasnt worried, they did a first U/s and seen "what appears to be a gestional sac' and was right there in my uterus went back 2-days later and there it was gestional sac with yok sac, didnt hav eto have my blood taken I was told to come back in 2-weeks, went back and there was a baby &heartbeat U/S tech said I was to early, when I had came in I am not out of the water yet, I am 8-weeks and fear more now thinking something will go wrong then right, I guess I can stop fearing when I am past my first tri-mester. Went to my OB last week and she had a bad U/s machine clody and dark and didnt see nothing, so again I worry more. But I go back tuesday.. I am sure your ok, if your numbers keep going up your body will let you know if that is a foreign object, dont worry as I did the same thing.

Try to rest as much as you can.

I'm a little confused about the timing between beta numbers, but the numbers by themselves look really good.  I remember getting my first u/s was at 5wk2d and my RE telling me we needed my number to at least 1000 for chance of seeing it on u/s...  My RE always does stuff on the 2d.  Like the first beta is on 4wk2d, the first u/s is 5wk2d, second u/s 6wk2d.  Anyway.. you are 5wk2d and your beta is over 1000 so I would say that is a very good!!  Congrats hon.. looks like all is progressing very well!!

I read when I was having my number melt down, that some women take up to 72 hrs to double! I think your numbers look good, mine was just 300 at 4wks4d so I would say WOOHOO girl you are having a baby!!!!

HELLO I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT MINE. I WENT TO THE ER LAST NIGHT. I,M 7 DAYS LATE ON MY PEROID. MY BETA IS 68 AND I GO BACK TOMMORROW. WE HAVE WAITIED 10 YEARS FOR THIS BABY. WE HAVE BEEN THROW EVERY THING THE PILLS ,,SHOTS ,,IUI,,ETC . SO CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A LITTLE HOPE..
