I'm 44 and have been married since 07/14 and my hubby (38) and I are TTC and haven't had any luck so far. I'm supposed to be on 3-6 months only of Norethrindone 5 mg for 10 days, wait 3 for bleed, then start Clomid for 5 days on the 5th day (I think!?) after period starts. Have had very irregular or no periods for the last year and a half or so and they've never been super regular. Suspect from testing Dr has done so far that my body is gearing up to start menopause in next 1-5 years but it seems so hit or miss! We can't go regular more expensive infertility route and he does have an 8 yo daughter so at one point his Mountain Dew infused (wish I was joking) swimmers were up to the task. He refused any sperm testing and is convinced he's still got good swimmers so just going with what we have. He also is somewhat resistant to the scheduled "job" of TTC intercourse. Any suggestions? I'm really wanting to have a baby with him as it's my first (and only!) marriage and I've never had any children. I adore my 8 year old and we'd like to do fostering and or adoption in the future. That said, if it's in God's plans for us. I understand that it may not be possible. Not trying to force anything, but am trying to cooperate to the best of my own ability. Could use some encouragement from the brave who've gone before me.
